League of Legends Season 13 Patch Schedule (2023)

As a frequently updated game, it is apt to lay out the patch schedule for League of Legends for Season 13.

League of Legends has been a game that has kept a constant patch schedule. Riot has maintained such to keep the game fresh and balanced. It is quite a daunting task to prepare a patch twice a month. With this system, the number of patches in a Season amounts to 23 or 24.

Each patch has unique updates depending on the live server and pro-play trends. Generally, the patch consists of champion buffs/nerfs, item, and rune changes. Also, the patches always include new skins that are released alongside the balance changes. Sometimes, reworks or mini-reworks will be released alongside all of the things mentioned above.

So far, four patches have been released: Patch 13.1, Patch 13.1B, Patch 13.3, and Patch 13.4. A fifth one is on the way as Patch 13.5 is being tested. Patch 13.1B was a replacement for Patch 13.2 due to a social engineering attack that caused a bit of a hiccup. Some highlight changes over those released patches are the Aurelion Sol CGU, Azir Rework, etc. Those changes have shaped how the meta is currently in the game.

As mentioned, Riot keeps a proper schedule to ensure all their updates are on time. Here is the Patch Schedule for Season 13 in League of Legends.
