Patch 13.15 is coming soon as Riot addresses more balance issues and gives pets a do-over.
League of Legends has really done well with Patch 13.14. That update introduces a whole host of balance changes alongside some of the best things to come to the game in a while. Arena has been a huge hit as players are really enjoying the time they are spending in that game mode.
Also, the addition of Tournament of Souls as a meta-game has been great. Both of these new things are great as they drew the attention of the players and gave them another mode to enjoy. As for balance, there have been changes to the jungle, Lissandra, and more.
Patch 13.15 is going to bring in some stuff on the balance front. Riot has talked about how they want to approach balancing for the rest of the year and this patch as well. We are going to be receiving some changes to Kai’Sa, Ivern, and more.
Riot Phroxzon shared the new preview, and here is what we know so far.

LoL Patch 13.15
The highlight of the patch thus far is the changes to Pets. So, Tibbers, Daisy, and The Maiden are getting changes along with how Smite affects them. Also, some major changes are coming to Ivern along with smaller changes on the other champions.
Champion Buffs
There will be seven champions that are getting the nod in Patch 13.15. Both Yasuo and Yone are getting buffs alongside Caitlyn, Gwen, and more. Camille was later added to the list. Here is the full list of champions getting the buffs in this patch.
Caitlyn
Riot has decided to increase Caitlyn’s Critical Damage in her Ultimate and Passive Critical Chance in her Passive.
- Passive – Headshot:
- Critical Chance Ratio: 1.2 >>> 1.3.
- R – Ace In The Hole:
- Critical Ratio: 2.5% Damage per 10% Critical Chance >>> 3.5% Damage per 10% Critical Chance.
Camille
She has not been that strong in Summoner’s Rift for a while. Thus, her AD scaling is increasing while On-Hit Base Damage while she is within her Ultimate’s zone is increasing.
- Base Stats:
- AD Growth: 3.5 >>> 3.8.
- R – The Hextech Ultimatum:
- Bonus On-Hit Base Damage: 5/10/15 >>> 20/30/40.
Gwen
For the most part, Gwen does not lack damage in a game. However, she lacks survivability, so Riot is giving her some of that with more HP regeneration and more resistance in her W.
- Base Stats:
- HP Regeneration: 8.5 >>> 9.0.
- W – Hallowed Mist:
- Bonus Resistances: 17/19/21/23/25 (+7% AP) >>> 22/24/26/28/30 (+7% AP).
Nami
Nami has fallen out of favor for quite a while now. Riot aims to bring her back by giving her Passive and Q a boost.
- Passive – Surging Tides:
- Bonus Movement Speed: 90 (+20% AP) >>> 100 (+25% AP).
- Q – Aqua Prison:
- Damage: 75/130/185/240/295 >>> 90/145/200/255/310.
Taliyah
While Taliyah has been relatively strong, Riot has deemed she needs a bit more buffs. The key takeaway here is the Damage to Monsters from her E being increased to help her jungle role effectiveness. Also, her Q is getting slightly increased damage, and E is getting a early-game cooldown buff.
- Q – Threaded Volley:
- Damage: 45/65/85/105/125 >>> 50/70/80/110/130.
- E – Unraveled Earth:
- Damage to Monsters: 150% >>> 175%.
- Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 seconds >>> 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 seconds.
Yasuo
Riot is changing the values of how Yasuo gets his shield. The overall numbers for the shield is the same, but the breakpoints are being changed. Here is a breakdown of how that works.
- Passive – Way of the Wanderer:
- Innate – Resolve:
- Shield Scaling: Linear Scaling >>> (+30 at level 3, +75 at level 6, +125 at level 9, +79 at level 16).
- Innate – Resolve:
Yone
His shield is being improved a bit in his W, but not by a lot, though.
- W – Spirit Cleave:
- Shield: 45 – 65 (level 1 – 18) >>> 55 – 75 (level 1 – 18).
Champion Nerfs
Six champions are getting nerfed, with Ivern seemingly taking the brunt of it and the Naafiri changes being pulled after the recent hotfix. Kai’Sa is also getting nerfed, but to what extent is a good question? Overall, this seems to target many of the Pro Play and Solo Queue outliers. However, how much it affects the champion is yet to be seen.
The list of champions getting nerfed is as follows.
Aatrox
Since Patch 13.14, Aatrox has been extremely strong. Thus, RIot is cutting down on some of the damage he can do with his Q.
- Q – The Darkin Blade:
- First Cast AD Ratio: 60/70/80/90/100 >>> 60/67.5/75/82.5/90.
Ivern
While the Patch Preview listed Ivern’s changes as a “long list”, Spideraxe shared what is coming to Ivern, and oh boy, it’s pretty big.
- Base Stats:
- Base Magic Resistance: 32 >>> 30.
- Magic Resistances Growth: 2.05 >>> 1.30.
- W – Brushmaker:
- Ally Bonus Magic Damage: 5/7.5/10/12.5/15 >>> 10/15/20/25/30.
- E – Triggerseed:
- Shield: 80/115/150/185/220 (+75% AP) >>> 85/125/165/205/245 (+50% AP).
- Daisy:
- Duration: 60 seconds >>> 45 seconds.
- Base Health: 1300/2600/3900 >>> 1000 – 4400 (+50 each level till level 12, then +400 per level).
- Base Resistances: 20/50/100 (+ 5% AP) >>> 30/60/90 (+0% AP)
- Damage AP Ratio: 30% AP >>> 15% AP.
- Daisy shockwave damage was rescripted so that total shockwave damage is not affected due to nerf.
Kai’Sa
Despite Kai’Sa being really strong, Riot is coming with some nerfs. There have been many arguments as to why the Nerf numbers look small, so Riot Phroxzon explained the thought process behind that. With that in mind, here are the Kai’Sa changes.
- Base Stats:
- Health: 670 >>> 640.
- Q – Icathian Rain:
- Damage per Missile: 40/55/70/85/100 (+50% Bonus AD) (+30% AP) >>> 40/55/70/85/100 (+50% Bonus AD) (+20% AP)
- W – Void Seeker:
- Cooldown Reduction After Evolution: 77% >>> 75%.
Maokai
Just a nerf to his Q to reduce his jungle clear speed and make it more of a decision of whether to fully clear or gank lanes.
- Q – Bramble Smash:
- Bonus Monster Damage: 100/120/140/160/180 >>> 80/100/120/140/160.
Sejuani
Her W is taking an overall nerf to reduce to her damage for ganking or jungling.
- W – Winter’s Wrath:
- Total Damage: 50 – 230 >>> 30 – 210.
Shyvana
Just some of her base stats are being changed to make her less oppressive and tanky.
- Base Stats:
- AD Per Level: 3.4 >>> 3.
- HP Per Level: 109 >>> 104.
Champion Adjustments
There are three champions getting some adjustments, with the Rell changes being pulled. Heimerdinger is getting some interesting changes. Also, Annie and Yorick are receiving changes to their Pets and more. Here is the list of adjustments.
Annie
Tibbers is getting quite a number of changes, and here they all are.
- Tibbers:
- Armor/Magic Resistance: 30/60/90 + 5% AP >>> 30 – 90 (level 6 – 18).
- Health: 1300/2200/3100 (+75% AP) >>> 1150 – 3500 (+50% AP) (nonlinear scaling from level 6 – 18).
Heimerdinger
Some Turret changes are coming to Heimerdinger, along with Armor and MR improvements for them.
- Q – H-28Q Apex Turret:
- Health: 850 – 1450 (+ 25 – 200% AP) (level 6 – 18) >>> 725 – 1525 (+ 50% AP) (level 6 – 18).
- Armor: 10 – 80 (level 6 – 18) >>> 30 – 90 (level 6 – 18).
- Magic Resist: 25 – 65 (level 6 – 18) >>> 30 – 90 (level 6 – 18).
Yorick
The Maiden is getting a few changes with some Health Regeneration being added but other adjustments as well.
- Maiden:
- (New) Health Regeneration: 0 >>> 2.5 Health per second.
- Armor/Magic Resistance: 0 >>> 10-50 (nonlinear, level 6 – 18).
- Health: 350/1100/3300 (+75% Yorick’s Maximum HP) >>> 400 – 1950 (nonlinear, level 6 – 18).
System Nerfs
No system buffs or adjustments in this patch. Most we are receiving a nerf to Night Harvester interaction, how Glacial Augments affects targets, and Smite on Champion Pets. Thus, the changes to the game system are as follows.
Glacial Augment
The zoning slow of Glacial Augment is changing fairly significantly as many different champions have been using this rune to an absurd level. It is being changed to more benefits based on AP and AD than up-front slow.
- Zone Slow: 30% (+3% per 100 AP) (+4% per 100 bonus AD) (+9% per 10% heal and shield power) >>> 20% (+6% per 100 AP) (+7% per 100 bonus AD) (+9% per 10% heal and shield power).
Night Harvester
At one point, Night Harvester was triggering an indirect effect. Thus, Riot is clarifying that with the item only triggers now due to Auto Attacks, Direct Spells, and Pets.
- Now only triggers on Auto Attacks, Direct Spells, and Pets.
Smite on Champion Pets
Smite is getting a massive change as Pets will not be that much affected when they are smited. Part of it is because Smite could one-shot Pets at one point, and Riot does not intend for that to happen. This will make Pets stronger and hence why Pets were also changed.
- Damage to Non-Lane Minions: 600/900/1200 >>> 20 – 160 (matches champion damage).
- Also Applies 20% Movement Speed Slow for 2 seconds that unlocks after reaching tier 2 Smite.
Skins
The second part of the Soul Fighters series is coming in this patch. It will feature the Shaco Prestige Edition, Viego Legendary skin, and more. Here are all of the splash arts of the skins coming soon in League of Legends.
