Here is the list of upcoming skins in 2023 for League of Legends.
League of Legends has seen a ton of skins since the start of 2023. Old favorite skin lines returned, such as the Astronaut, Cats vs Dogs, and so on. Also, we have gotten many new thematics this year.
The biggest additions are the Broken Covenant skin line, Faerie Court skin line, and more. All these brought in skins of different kinds, as we also got the DRX 2022 skins as well. However, the biggest highlights have been the Inkshadow, Soul Fighter, and Crystalis Motus skin lines.
Inkshadow and Soul Fighter have been different from their usual release timers as they are massive skin lines that were tied to events. The former was attached to MSI 2023, while the latter is part of the Summer Event. Crystalis Motus is the latest Mythic skin line that only has a Leona skin thus far.
With all that said, we are projecting forward to the rest of the year, as we still have a ton of patches left. BigBadBear put out a video with speculation as to when he expects certain skins and such to come out. Let’s talk about all the upcoming skins in 2023 that we know of thus far.

All Upcoming Skins in 2023
Let’s talk about all the skins that will be coming in 2023 that we know of.
Coven Skins
As per early leaks, the Coven skin line is coming soon. Here are the potential champions that will get a Coven skin.
- Syndra (rumored to be Legendary)
- Nilah
- Elise
- Nami
- Akali
- Briar (recent rumor)
As for when the skin line is coming back, we have no idea. One of the biggest rumors is that we could see Coven 2023 in Patch 13.16. There is a recent rumor of Briar getting a Coven skin, but there is no confirmation yet. So keep your eyes on social media for the confirmations of the skins.
Crystalis Motus Skins
Riot has already revealed the upcoming Crystalis Motus skins, and we now have some indication of when those skins could be coming. Taliyah and Ashe are set to receive Crystalis Motus skins and there are some rumors floating around that.
Patch 13.18 is the prospective date for Crystalis Motus Taliyah to come out, while Crystalis Motus Ashe is expected to come out at the end of the year. We will get more confirmations on this soon.
Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah and Rakan Skins
Riot has confirmed already that many of the Wild Rift skins will be ported to PC soon. Star Guardian Senna, Seraphine, and Orianna are already out, while the Xayah and Rakan skins are coming really soon. When we will get them is unknown. As a reminder, both skins are Legendary, so it could take until the end of the year to get those.
Worlds 2023 Skins
Like the Inkshadow skin line for MSI 2023, we expect Worlds 2023 to have something similar. There is also a rumor that we could see the Ink Mage champion out around that time as well. What the theme will be and such will be interesting to see but expect a two-part skin line, with potentially multiple Legendary skins and even Prestige skins.
Prestige Skins
Riot already revealed their list of champions that will get Prestige skins this year. With Shaco and Pyke getting theirs already, we have Sona, Akali, Renata Glasc, Yone, and Camille left. Akali is one of the champions in the rumored Coven skins, so there is a good bit of expectation that we could see the Akali Prestige skin when Coven 2023 is out.
Sona and Renata are rumored to be Showcase skins so far, so that could slot into the patches when Coven or Worlds 2023 skins don’t come out. Yone Prestige could be part of the Worlds 2023 skin line, while Camille is expected to be later in the year.
All of this is still rumors, and Riot could easily change their mind on when they release said Prestige skins. So keep that in mind before banking on the information we have given.
Halloween Skins
Like every year, we expect Halloween skins to come out in October. Patch 13.21 is the expected patch for that, as it will be deployed on October 25, 2023. No other info has been revealed, so we have to wait until Riot spills the beans.
