Riot has officially unveiled the upcoming skin line, Broken Covenant, for League of Legends.
When Riot released the season 2023 roadmap video earlier this year, they barely previewed any new content. As for skins, they only have two individual skins: Faerie Court Karma and Faerie Queen Kalista. Moreover, they also only announced one returning skin line, Cats vs. Dogs. So players were very disappointed since, in the previous roadmap videos, Riot revealed and teased plenty of upcoming skins and even named some champions who will receive a skin that season. However, they did not do such things in the roadmap 2023 video.
But in season 13, they did add some unique skins, like the new Mythmaker skin line, which was released alongside Lunar Emperor skins. Furthermore, for Valentine’s Day, Riot released the Hearththrob and Heartache skins. And finally, Riot announced the newest iteration of Astronaut skins for patch 13.4.
Moreover, recently Riot teased some upcoming skins in their dev log. In that dev log, they announced they would release some Wild Rift exclusive skins to League of Legends PC. Moreover, they are working on porting over Star Guardian Seraphine, Redeemed Star Guardian Rakan, and Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah.
And for patch 13.5, we will receive a new skin line, Broken Covenant.

Broken Covenant Skins
Broken Covenant is the upcoming League of Legends skin line. It resembles the fan favorite, the Ashen Knight skin line. Because of this, the fans are already calling them the Bloodborne skin line. Bloodborne is a game made by FromSoftware, the creator of Elden Ring. The best comparison would be if the Ashen Knight skins (especially the Emberwoken chroma) and the Arcana skins fused.
Including prestige, there will be 8 different Broken Covenant skins.

- Broken Covenant Rakan
- Broken Covenant Vladimir
- Broken Covenant Cho’Gant
- Broken Covenant Nocturne
- Broken Covenant Miss Fortune
- Prestige Broken Covenant Miss Fortune
Release Date
The Broken Covenant skins are expected to hit live servers in patch 13.5, scheduled to release Thursday, March 9, 2023.
