Respawn made a surprise launch of Apex Legends back in February 2019. It was a massive hit despite the unannounced release of the game. And within one month of the launch, 50 million people had registered to play Apex Legends. More than 130 million people play this game worldwide across multiple platforms.
Apex Legends is a battle royale game, but the hero-shooter aspect, precise gunplay, movement, and character differentiations have made the game popular among all sorts of player bases across the globe.
The characters in Apex Legends are divided into four distinct classes. These are Assault, Defense, Recon, and Support characters. Even though the game is already friendly toward fluid movements, some definite legends are one step ahead of other legends in the movement department.
One such legend is called Octane. Octane first appeared in Season 1 of Apex Legends and is the fastest character in the game. He is an adrenaline junkie who can go faster with his Stim Tactical and Jump Pad Ultimate.
For those who like to do flashy tap strafes, wall bounces, and rope jumps, Octane is the perfect legend for such movements. The movement feels smooth and flamboyant with this specific legend. naturally, for a flashy legend like Octane, there needs to be some garish cosmetics equipped that can make the gameplay experience a whole lot better.

Top 10 Best Octane skins in Apex Legends
Throughout the 15 seasons, Octane received quite a fantastic collection of legendary skins. If you look closely, most Octane skins are themed around something related to speed, which matches his persona. Now we’ll showcase the 10 best legendary Octane skins in descending order.
10. Wild Speed
Wild Speed Octane skin was inspired by the cheetah, the fastest animal on land. It is very slim-looking skin with a distinguishing yellow and black pattern. The Wild Speed skin was made available in the ALGS Championship Sale in Season 9 of Apex Legends.
9. Clocktane
As the name suggests, Clocktane is a clock-themed skin that looks like a ticking bomb and is ready to burst with his stim at any moment. This fancy Octane skin was first released in the Grand Soirée Arcade Event in Season 3 of Apex Legends.
Other alternatives and variants:
- Steampunk
8. Fast Fashion
Fast Fashion was released in the season 7 Battle Pass called Ascension. It is by far the stylish-looking skin that Respawn has released for Octane. The spiked hairs, goggles, and glossy golden accent all over the skin and legs make the skin more attractive to the eyes. There was also a recolor released in the Black Friday Sale in March 2022.
Other alternatives and variants:
- Overdrive
7. Riding Dirty
Riding Dirty is a warrior-themed skin released in the Warriors Collection Event for season 12 of Apex Legends. The chrome-green accent throughout the skin represents Octane with every move. The skin will surely remind the players of gladiators, ready to fight in any battle in the Outlands.
6. El Tigre
As the name implies, El Tigre is a tiger-themed octane skin that came to Apex Legends at the 2nd Anniversary Collection Event back in 2019. El Tigre has cool designs on the skin of his throat, chest plate, and legs that make the skin more unique than the original.
Other alternatives and variants:
- Jade Tiger
5. Arachnoid Rush
Arachnoid Rush is a white skin with a purple accent on top. The first look of the skin reminds the players of spiders, and that’s right, it was inspired by arachnids. Arachnoid Rush came with the Octane Edition bundle in 2020. Unfortunately, Respawn no longer sells the Edition skins in their store. So keep an eye on the upcoming store rotation in case this skin becomes available.
4. Run the Streets
Run the Streets is a pretty hyped-up skin in Apex Legends. The skin first leaked at the beginning of 2022. However, it wasn’t launched until Season 14’s Hunted Black Friday Sale. The skin is clearly inspired by the mobile game Subway Surfers and is one of the nicest skins available in the game.
3. Peak Performance
Peak Performance has a superhero and supervillain vibe at the same time. The cosmetic has a bulky plastic suit made of an orange and off-white color. The coolest part of the skin is its helmet, which looks like an aerodynamic bike helmet. The spikes on his shoulders and his gloves make his skin more flashy and dangerous. Respawn released Peak Performance in the Evolution Collection Event in Season 10.
2. Sea Legs
Sea Legs is a popular favorite among anime fans, particularly those who like One Piece and recognize Luffy as the inspiration for this skin. The skin’s beauty stands on its own, regardless of its origin. It was during Season 13’s Gaiden Collection Event when Sea Legs was made available in the store.
1. Lucky Rabbit
Lucky Rabbit is the latest Octane Legendary skin released in the game. The skin was made available in the Celestial Sunrise Collection Event. The skin looks pretty unique compared to the other skins in this list. Additionally, the skin theme goes pretty well with Octane’s persona.
The event and recolor skins may ultimately make their way to the store, and skins like Clocktane, Riding Dirty, and Extreme Measures may still be available. Like Jade Tiger and Fast Fashion, octane skins from the battle pass will not be available in the Apex Legend store. However, Respawn has announced that battle pass skins from Season 11 and onwards may be available in an event-specific skin package in the future.
