Best Valkyrie Skins in Apex Legends 2023: All Skins Ranked from Worst to Best

In this article, we will talk about all the best Valkyrie skins that Respawn has released in Apex Legends up until 2023.

Apex Legends was published in 2019 as a battle royale spin-off of Respawn’s successful FPS game Titanfall, and it quickly established itself as the greatest battle royale game on the market. Because the game was free to play, it attracted a large number of players in a short amount of time.

Upon its release, Respawn introduced a few legends with distinct abilities and roles, making Apex Legends more unique than other battle royale games on the market. The characters in Apex Legends are divided into four classes: Assault, Defense, Recon, and Support.

Recon characters are trained to gather vital information about their surroundings. These legends can also find the next ring location by scanning the survey beacon ahead of time. Since 2019, Respawn has released 6 different Recon characters throughout the lifetime of Apex Legends.

One such Recon character is Valkyrie. Upon Valkyrie’s release, she became very popular because of her Ultimate ability to get her team out of some difficult and tricky situations. Aside from the Ultimate, her offensive Tactical and VTOL Jets Passive have made her a fan favorite among Apex Legends players.

Valkyrie was released in Season 9 of Apex Legends, and because of that, the character does not have tons of legendary skins. However, Respawn has been releasing some great cosmetics for this flashy Legend, and there are quite a few insane-looking skins for Valkyrie that every Valkyrie main will love to have.

Best Valkyrie Skins in Apex Legends (A Complete Tier List)

Here we’ll rank all the Valkyrie skins that Respawn has released so far in the game. We’ll categorize all of the skins into three distinct tiers: S-Tier, A-Tier, and B-Tier.

The S-Tier Valkyrie skins are the elite skins that every Valkyrie player wishes to own. The A-Tier skins are rare and follow closely behind their S-Tier counterparts. Lastly, B-Tier skins are also Legendary cosmetics, but they feel very ordinary compared to the S and A-Tier Valkyrie skins.

We have ranked these Valkyrie skins based on their looks, rarity, and popularity. Like any other tier list, this one is also purely subjective, and any of the mentioned skins can be put anywhere on the list. This list is mostly made to help new and experienced players find the best-looking legendary Valkyrie skins.

The subtle designs throughout the skin make it look more stunning than its golden counterpart. Azure Blessing is also a legendary default skin for Valkyrie.

Other alternatives and variations:

  • Higher Learning
  • Golden Opportunity

7. Cloud Marauder

“Marauder” means a person who raids or a raider. Unsurprisingly, Cloud Marauder was released in the Raiders Collection Event in season 11 of Apex Legends. This cyan-colored cosmetic with a red bandana on her forehead is one of the badass skins Respawn released for Valkyrie. So beware of any Valkyrie enemy with this skin because she will surely try to kill you and raid the loot from your death box.

6. Omatsuri Fury

Omatsuri Fury is inspired by the Omatsuri Japanese festival, where people show their gratitude toward nature. This vibrant short yellow Kimono skin has a little Japanese culture mixed into it, and many players, including the Apex professional player Snip3down, love this cosmetic for Valkyrie. The skin was released in the Genesis Collection Event in Season 9 of Apex Legends.

5. Air Orchid

Air Orchid is a cyberpunk-themed futuristic skin for Valkyrie. The skin looks fantastic because of its cyborg-like features. This skin made its debut in the 3rd Year Anniversary Collection Event in Season 12 of Apex Legends.

4. Fluorescent Tech

Fluorescent Tech is a highly sought-after Valkyrie skin in the game. The unique color combination and reactive mask of the skin make this skin one of the rarest things in Apex Legends, as Respawn doesn’t usually put reactive elements into Legendary skins. The Fluorescent Tech skin made a debut in the Summer Sundown Sale in 2022.

3. Slingshot

Slingshot is one of the most badass-looking skins in the game. The unique haircut and mask help bring out the beauty of the skin in a subtle way. The skin was first released in the Unshackled Thematic Event in Season 12. However, you can get this skin now for 1200 Crafting Materials.

2. Blue Bomber

Valkyrie always wanted to become a pilot, following in the footsteps of her father. The Blue Bomber is one of the two skins that are reminiscent of her becoming the pilot she always wanted to be. The Blue Bomber is a recolor of the original Birthright skin, which was featured at the End of the Year Sale in 2021.

1. Birthright

Birthright is the original skin that gave birth to the beloved Legend, Valkyrie. The Birthright suit was made with her father’s Northstar and the helmet he left her. There’s also an Apex Predator logo on the skin, which makes sense since her father worked as a mercenary. Birthright was exclusively a part of the Valkyrie Launch Bundle in 2021.

Will past event-related Valkyrie skins ever return?

The event and recolor skins may ultimately make their way to the store, and skins like Birthright, Blue Bomber, and Air Orchid may still be available. However, skins such as Aerial Evolution from the battle pass will not be available in the Apex Legends store.

However, Respawn has announced that battle pass skins from Season 11 and onwards may be available in an event-specific skin package in the future.
