A few recent Apex Legends leaks have revealed the upcoming thematic event called “Gaiden,” which will feature skins based on Anime characters.
As Apex Legends is a live service title with an ever-evolving world, Respawn releases events on a regular basis to spice things up for players. Usually, these event introduces new cosmetic items and heirlooms to the game.
Among these events, thematic events such as this one mainly feature exclusive skins. And, it seems like Respawn is going to release new skins based on some popular anime characters in the upcoming Hero Anime Thematic Event.

Hero Anime Event Store
The Hero Anime Thematic Event will have Apex packs in store. Like past thematic Apex Packs, expect to pay around 400 Apex coins for each loot box. Each pack will guarantee you at least one Legendary, Epic, or Rare item. The store will also include different bundles that can save you some cost.

Hero Anime Event Skin Price:
Each event pack will cost around 400 Apex coins, equating to around $4 based on previous thematic event packs. Also, you can buy the skins through store bundles which will cost you less money if you want to unlock the Apex Commander Prestige skin.
Bangalore Prestige Skin “Apex Commander”
In Season 13 Bangalore is going to receive her “Apex Commander” Prestige Skin. Bangalore’s Prestige edition skin is based upon the Pilot uniform from the original Titanfall games. And as this is a Mythic tier skin tailor-made for Bangalore, the dev team at Respawn made the right call with the design aesthetic.
The Bloodhound Prestige skin was available during the Anniversary Collection Event in Season 12. However, this time Respawn is taking a different approach. Instead of putting the Bangalore Mythic Skin in the Collection Event, they are making this skin available in the Hero Anime “Gaiden” thematic Event. Players can unlock this skin by collecting all the items from the thematic event.
Gaiden Event Tracker
Like other events, the Gaiden Thematic Event will also feature free cosmetic items and packs. Players can get these skins by completing Gaiden challenges.
Hero Anime Event Release Date
Gaiden Thematic Event will go live on July 19, 2022, and it will end on August 2, 2022.
