Apex Legends data miners have revealed an upcoming skin collection featuring recolors of popular skins.
Apex Legends is a free-to-play first-person shooter battle royale game developed by the same team behind the Titanfall franchise. Instead of implementing their past monetization model, Respawn opted for the tried and tested freemium model for Apex Legends.
Unsurprisingly, the game got really popular as there was no barrier to entry. Respawn releases new content like maps, weapons, battle passes, skins, and more to keep the player base engaged. As such, players can purchase cosmetic items to customize their play sessions using real-world money.
Seasonal event-related skins and their recolors are sought-after commodities within the Apex Legends community, especially skins with rare recolors are highly popular. And thanks to some prominent data miners in the Apex Legends data mining scene, we have an in-depth look into upcoming skin recolors that look enticing.
Back in Black Skin Bundle
At this point, it is evident that the Apex Legends community prefers dark recolors of already existing skins. For example, Airship Assassin Wraith skin was a highly desired item before it made a return to the recolor store.
Based on the popularity of these skins with a darker tone, Respawn decided to bring back popular Wraith, Octane, & Pathfinder skins with black recolors and bundle them together as a new collection aptly called “Back in Black”.
Eternal Life Wraith
Overdrive Octane
Untouchable Pathfinder
As the name suggests, these skins are black recolors of previously released skin in the game. Players are particularly excited about the possibility of a darker recolor of the fan-favorite Voidwalker skin. Also, the Octane and Pathfinder skin recolors are nothing to scoff at either.
Back in Black Custom Intro Animations
On top of that, these skins will also feature custom intro animations, making them quite a catch for collectors of cosmetic items.
Back in Black Bundle Price:
TBA
The exact price of this skin bundle is unknown as of writing. Based on past skin recolors, expect to pay around 1800 Apex coins for these skins individually, which equates to around 20$. Also, there could be an option to purchase them via 12,000 legend tokens or 2400 crafting materials, although that has not been confirmed yet.
Back in Black Bundle Release Date:
According to data miners, the Back in Black skin bundle will arrive on March 22, 2022, and leave the digital storefront on March 29, 2022.
