Here, you’ll find everything there is to know about the Exclusive Edition skins that have been released so far in VALORANT.
VALORANT is a free-to-play tactical shooter developed by the developers of League of Legends. Similar to League, Riot Games has adopted a “freemium” model to monetize the game. As such, VALORANT has no barrier to entry since this is a free-to-play game.
Instead, players can choose to purchase skins, battle passes, and other in-game virtual items to customize their play session. Riot Games has already stated that they never intend to sell powerups in VALORANT as that may affect the game’s competitive integrity.
Among these skins, exclusive edition skins are quite special as they have additional sound and VFX that can be upgraded using in-game currencies. They are only behind the Ultra Edition of skins in VALORANT in terms of status.
