Riot Games has officially revealed the Words patch changes, outlining Ashe & Lee Sin buffs, Miss Fortune & Lulu nerfs, and Maokai & Udyr adjustments.
League of Legends Worlds 2022 is upon us, and ahead of the grand event, we already have all 24 qualified teams with their respective groups for both the play-in & groups stage. Most teams are taking their final preparation and will fly to North America before the event, which kicks off on September 29.
Moreover, to ensure all teams can practice and adapt to meta while keeping the competitive integrity, Riot has also announced the return of the Champions Queue.
However, the only thing — probably the most crucial thing — that was yet to be revealed was the Worlds patch, where pro players will only have two weeks to master the meta.
Even though the last two patches, patch 12.16 & 12.17, were both Worlds-focused, League of Legends Lead Designer Riot Phroxzon has unveiled the final patch for Worlds 2022, patch 12.18 changes.
League of Legends Patch 12.18, however, will be a small one, mainly balancing out patch 12.17’s changes.
“Most champions are only receiving small nudges, especially if we suspect recent changes have overshot,” Riot Phroxzon on the Worlds patch. “We’ve made a significant number of changes since the playoff patches, so we don’t want to completely upend the meta.”
Ashe, Thresh, Lee Sin, and Nasus will receive some buffs on patch 12.18, while Miss Fortune, Kalista, Hecarim, Kayn, Lulu, and Nocturne will see some notable nerfs.
Here’s everything you need to know about Worlds 2022 Patch, patch 12.18 notes.
