Ancient Smoke Lineups in Counter-Strike 2

To make your life easier, we’ve discovered all of the smoke lineups required to control the critical areas in Ancient. The guide will also include smoke lineups for both the CT and T sides, ensuring that you don’t fall short in any way while playing Ancient in CS2.

Most smokes in this guide will require you to use the jump throw. If you don’t know what jump-throw is or how it works, we recommend you go through this article beforehand.

Ancient T-Side Lineups

T-side on Ancient is difficult to approach. The sightlines for the CT-side allow Awpers to rain terror. Angles have to be smoked off, and the opposition must be denied vision in order for the T-side to get map control and set up site takes. Here are some of the essential smokes on Ancient

T-Spawn Smokes

Right from spawn, you can set up a few smokes to start the round by denying the opposition information and map control.

Mid Smoke

Line up against the right side of the pillar in spawn. Position yourself around the middle of the structure.

Aim at the top of the wooden gate in front of the spawn. Line up your crosshair in between the second and third stone pyramid shapes on the wall. Then you have to jump-throw.

The smoke will block the vision for Red Room, allowing you to take mid-control during the start of the round.

A Site Smokes

A site is difficult to take without blocking off certain angles. There are almost 4 different angles you might have to clear with, which is difficult at a higher level. It is better to execute on to the site with our easy-to-master lineups.

B-Site Smokes

The B-site on Ancient is a bit more technical and considerably easier to take when compared to A. There are fewer angles to check, and most of them can be blocked off easily, as we will show here. These smokes can be essential to taking the Swing round and regaining momentum.
