Space Groove will be the last event of 2022, which will release in patch 12.22. Here’s everything you have to know.
Season 12 was a big year for League of Legends, especially for skins and events. This season, we saw the release of Star Guardian, Spirit Blossom, Empyrean, Fright Night, Steel Valkyries, Porcelain, etc.
As the preseason 2023 is around the corner, Riot Games have revealed the final event of 2022 or season 12, Space Groove 2022.
Released in 2021, Space Groove is one of the unique skin lines in League of Legends. It is an alternative universe where champions act like they are in a Saturday morning cartoon or a cereal commercial. The lore of this universe is that the champions use the power of “The Groove” to fight against Lissandra’s Forces. It is one of the most lighthearted skin lines/universes in League of Legends.

The original skin line featured nine unique skin, including the prestige skin. These skins are Space Groove Lux, Space Groove Samira, Space Groove Rumble, Space Groove Blitz & Crank, Space Groove Nunu & Willump, Space Groove Nasus, Space Groove Lulu, and Space Groove Gwen.
Space Groove 2022, on the other hand, including the prestige skin, features 8 different skins. These skins are Space Groove Gragas, Space Groove Lissandra, Space Groove Nami, Prestige Space Groove Nami, Space Groove Ornn, Space Groove Taric, Space Groove Teemo, Space Groove Twisted Fate.
Space Groove 2022 Release Date
The Space Groove 2022 skin line will release on patch 12.22, scheduled for Nov 17, 2022. However, these skins are available in PBE for testing. So if you have access to PBE, you can try out all of these skins for free. It is essentially the best way to know whether you like these skins. But judging from splash art and gameplay, these skins are already some of the best skins released this year.
