When will the Arena mode end? Let’s find out.
On July 19th, Riot released the much-anticipated Arena mode for League of Legends. Formerly known as the 2v2v2v2 more, Arena is the newest game mode added to League of Legends. It’s a game mode that takes elements from League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics and creates an amalgamation of a mode that is both fun and competitive at the same time.
In the mode, two players can team up with one another to participate in a series of 2v2 fights. Up to eight players can participate in the mode and are divided into four teams of two. Each team takes turns facing off against each other, and the last team standing wins the game. Losing a round results in losing HP; if your team’s HP reaches zero, your team is out.
Between rounds, participants are placed in an intermission period known as the “Shop Phase.” During this phase, players can purchase items or select an augment to aid their champions. Players can choose up to four Augments per game, and each game is randomized. So, each game is different, and there’s a ton of replay value.
Overall, it’s a highly enjoyable game mode that strikes a good mix between League’s strategic and action features. Furthermore, since its introduction, the game mode has grown quite popular among players. In fact, it has grown so popular that Riot has hinted that it may become a permanent game mode.
All things considered, it still is a temporary game mode and will end soon. But when will it end? Let’s find out.
