LPL
The LPL was one of the first leagues to end of LoLEsports. Unsurprisingly, JDG was the victor and no.1 seed of the LPL. BLG could not make the Summer Finals but still had enough Championship points to net the second seed. Meanwhile, LNG rose to the occasion and beat their counterparts to net the 3rd seed. Lastly, Weibo Gaming got the last seed with a star-studded roster and will be slotted into the Play-Ins.
JDG, BLG, and LNG will be in the Worlds 2023 Swiss Stage, while Weibo Gaming will be in the new Play-Ins Stage.
LCK
The LCK got their representatives as Gen.G really dominated the finals against T1. That nets Gen.G the first seed, and T1 grabs the 2nd seed for achieving the highest championship points. Then, through the gauntlet, Dplus Kia and HLE grabbed the 3rd and 4th seeds, respectively.
All four teams from the LCK will be going to the Swiss Stage. Thus, we will have to wait a little while to see them in action again.
LEC
The LEC remains one of the few leagues that are yet to complete their playoffs. Currently, G2, MAD Lions, and Fnatic are in the race to get the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd seeds. Meanwhile, Team BDS is the 4th seed due to the loss against Fnatic.
The first 3 seeds will be at Worlds 2023 in the Swiss stage, while Team BDS will have to wait until the Worlds Qualifier Series in October 2023 to get into the Play-Ins.
LCS
The LCS has been one of the more surprising Playoffs, with NRG running the gauntlet to win the LCS for the first time. Cloud9 is the 2nd seed as the runners-up in the Playoffs. Meanwhile, Team Liquid got to the 3rd seed after losing to NRG. Lastly, Golden Guardians is the 4th seed from the LCS.
NRG, Cloud9, and Team Liquid will be heading to the Swiss Stage, while Golden Guardians will face Team BDS for a spot in the Play-Ins Stage at Worlds 2023.
Rest of the World
All the leagues for the rest of the world have ended their playoffs. LJL will send Detonation FocusMe again, and we will be seeing them on the world stage once more. Meanwhile, LLA will send Movistar R7 as they must redeem themselves for the MSI 2023 performances. CBLOL will be sending LLL after a close series against paiN Gaming.
As for VCS and PCS, they have recently ended their playoff runs. PSG Talon and GAM Esports won the PCS and VCS, respectively, once again. Both teams are juggernauts in their region and want to make a mark on the international stage. Meanwhile, CTBC Flying Oyster will be making their back-to-back Worlds appearance, while Team Whales are a newcomer to the International Stage.
All their Wildcard teams have a lot to prove with the new format. It will be interesting to see how everything pans out.
