As VALORANT Episode 5 Act 3 is ending soon, it is time for us to find out what to expect from the brand new Episode 6.

On June 22, 2022, Episode 5: Dimension took place. Along with it, a new map, Pearl, a new rank tier, Ascendant, new map rotations, and more were introduced. Although the VALORANT Championship 2022 did take place during Episode 5 Act 2, the player base found the Episode to be generally uninteresting because there wasn’t much new content made available during this period.

So, players were eagerly waiting for the new Act to start. And, on October 18, 2022, Episode 5 Act 3 went live, and a long-awaited new Agent, Harbor, joined the VALORANT roster. The Episode ended with a new game mode added called Swiftplay.

However, most players regarded Episode 5 as underwhelming since not much new content was added. As a result, players are waiting for Episode 6 to become live with exciting content. So, without further ado, let’s see what to expect from Episode 6 for now.

However, Riot Games may change these dates at any time based on different circumstances.

New Agent

As of now, there has been no information regarding a new Agent. Riot Games usually releases at least one new Agent every Episode. Likewise, we can expect a new Agent to be released in Episode 6. But when exactly?

Agent #22

As Harbor was introduced in Episode 5 Act 3, it is very likely that we won’t be getting a new Agent in Episode 6 Act 1. However, we may start to get a glimpse of the new Agent starting from Episode 6. Still, it is too soon to speculate.

Split’s Entrance and Map Rotation

Riot Games made an official announcement regarding the upcoming map rotation in Episode 6. Bind and Breeze will be leaving the competitive map pool, and Split will make it into the rotation once again.

However, Riot Games will not put Split the way it was back when it got removed. They’ll make some changes that will make the map more competitive and enjoyable.

Riot Games previously confirmed that starting from Episode 5, there’ll be 7 maps in the rotation until further notice. However, if Bind and Breeze leave and Split enters the map pool, VALORANT is still left with 6 maps. So what about the 7th map? Don’t worry. Riot may have something up its sleeves.

New Map Codename “Lotus”

ValorLeaks, a prominent leaker in the community, previously shared about a new map that was about to be released in 2023. According to the leaks, the map had a codename “Jam.” Other than that, there was no solid information regarding the map except for some teasers in the game.

However, thanks to the teasers and leaks, it was pretty evident that, similar to our latest Agent, the new map would also be from India. And the recent Episode 6 launch trailer has revealed it to be true. Apart from that, we now have a name for the map, which will be called Lotus.
