Riot Games is updating the splash art for one of the oldest champions in the game, Sivir.

Earlier this year, Riot released a dev log regarding champions, game mode, skins, and more. In that video, they revealed new information regarding those topics. Some notable details are the upcoming ASU of Teemo and Lee Sin, the new 2v2v2v2 game mode, WR-exclusive skins coming to League PC, and splash art updates for existing skins and champions.

Since the game’s release, Riot has been constantly updating the champion’s visual. In the last season, they updated some existing champions’ VFX. Moreover, we have also seen updated splash art for Kassadin.

This year, Riot has updated the splash art for one of the oldest skins, Rugged Garen. Furthermore, in subsequent patches, they also updated the splash art for Hecarim.

And now, they will update the splash art for one of the popular ADC in League of Legends, Sivir.

Sivir Base Splash Art Update

Similar to Hecarim, her current base splash isn’t bad. But when compared to the updated splash, the older one does feel dated.

The new splash art gives Sivir a bounty-hunter feeling. It is also more high quality than the previous one. Additionally, the new splash art also shows Shurima in its highest glory as well.

While Sivir’s splash art improved considerably, most of her old skins, like Warrior Princess Sivir or Spectacular Sivir, are still not up to par. So we can expect Riot to update all of these older skin at some point in the future, similar to Rugged Garen.
