Riot just teased the upcoming champion Briar in a VALORANT cinematic.
Earlier in the year, Riot announced the champions that would be coming to League of Legends season 13. They announced four new champions to the game; these were Milio, The Gentle Flame, Naafiri, The Hound of a Hundred Bites, Vampire Jungler Briar, and the Ionian Ink Mage.
Of the four champions, the Ixtali enchanter, Milio, and The Gentle Flame have already been released in Patch 13.6. The next champion, Naafiri: The Hound of a Hundred Bites, is now in the PBE servers and will be released in Patch 13.14 soon.
The champion released after Naafiri is the new Jungler Brair. Not much information is given about Brair. But according to Riot, he will be the first true Vampire champion coming to the game and will likely be hailing from Noxus. In addition, during her announcement, Riot made multiple references to frenzies, bloodlust, and uncontrollable hunger. So, we can expect a new Frenzy mechanic to come with Briar.
Other than that, not much information is known about Brair. But Riot recently released a new teaser for the champion, giving us more information.

Riot Teases Briar
For the recent release of VALORANT’s newest agent Deadlock, Riot released a cinematic called UNMADE. In it, there are multiple references for Brair. Apparently, the name of the Norwegian team Deadlock was part of was called Brair.
A folder named Brair was also shown in a previous teaser for Deadlock.
The last time something like this was done was when Zeri was released. Both Zeri and Neon were simultaneously released in League and VALORANT. In addition, Briar is being designed by Riot August, who created both Zeri and Neon. So there is a chance we might be getting another simultaneous release.
As for the release date of Briar, it is still unknown. But there is a likely chance she will be released in September or October.
