Milio, The Gentle Flame, is the next champion to come to League of Legends as an Enchanter.
League of Legends is off and running in Season 13, as it has brought quite a number of changes to the game. All of these changes are geared to keep the player base engaged while keeping frustrations low. It is a daunting task as you never truly can achieve the perfect balance in a live game like this.
Regardless, Riot tries their best in order to keep the champions as balanced as possible. The last few patches have been a good indication of that. Patch 13.4 addressed the huge problem in the Support role as Riot tries to get Engage and Tank Supports back into the swing of things.
This year has not seen any new champions in League of Legends. The last champion to release was K’Sante in 2022. It’s great, considering Riot had plenty of time to work on a new champion this year. With all that said, Milio is coming to League of Legends as the brand-new enchanter champion.
Milio will be a champion that uses fire to heal through different mechanics. He travels with his “furnasita” and his “fuemigos” to fulfill his journey to join the Yun Tal in Ixtal to redeem his family. The idea behind the champion is that he can harness the power of fire to heal others using his “inner flame.”
It is a bold and refreshing idea to use something as destructive as fire to be a healing tool. Other fire-based champions like Annie and Brand are only known to be huge damage dealers, but Milio will change that in League of Legends.

Milio Abilities
All the abilities of Milio are as follows,
Passive – Fired Up!
Milio’s abilities enchant allies on touch, making their next damage deal a burst of extra damage and burn the target.
Q – Ultra Mega Fire Kick
Milio kicks a ball that knocks back an enemy. The ball launches upward on hit and falls toward the enemy, damaging and slowing enemies in the area upon impact.
W – Cozy Campfire
Milio creates an empowering zone that heals allies and increases attack range to those inside. The zone follows the ally nearest to the cast point.
E – Warm Hugs
Milio tosses a shield to an ally, temporarily increasing their movement speed.
R – Breath of Life
Milio unleashes a wave of soothing flames that heal and remove crowd control effects from allies in range.
Milio Release Date
Milio will officially release in League of Legends patch 13.6, scheduled to come out on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
