Riot has revealed the champion roadmap for League of Legends.

In every season, we get a plethora of new champion releases in League of Legends. And this season was no exception.

The first champion we received was the cheerful Milio. He is an enchanter support who excels at supporting his team in all stages of the game. Not only that but with his soothing fire abilities, he can help his teammates regardless of the situation.

Then we got the Darkin mid-laner Naafiri. She is the first proper monster champion we received in a few years. Additionally, she was designed to be a straightforward assassin that anyone can pick up and learn the class.

And finally, the newest champion we received was the hangry jungler Briar. And she is one of the most unique champions that we have seen in a while. With her W, the players are unable to control the champion, but in return, they are given more healing, damage and attack speed.

Recently, Riot has released a dev log about champions, lore, Blue Essence Emporium, and quick play. And in this video, they have unveiled the champion roadmap for the game.

Initially, during the season 2023 dev log, Riot revealed an artistic mid-laner that would be released after Briar. But at the time, they did not mention any name or abilities. But now Riot has unveiled that his name will be Hwei.

While they did not reveal any gameplay-related information, they did share some lore. While learning much from his old master, he has transcended them to the point where he can bring his artistic vision to life. But he still has much to learn.

Hwei will be the first champion released after Briar.

Small Creature Champion

After Hwei, we are getting another creature champion. But it is not as ferocious as Naafiri. Instead, it is on the cuter side and smaller in size.

From what we know, he will be a baby dragon who can breathe fire. And he will be part of royalty. And that is all Riot has revealed for this champion. Overall, it is nice that they are releasing a new creature champion soon after Naafiri’s release.

Skarner VGU

After the baby dragon, we are getting the Skarner VGU. And this time, Riot has unveiled a lot of information about it.

Firstly, with his Q, he picks up a rock and empowers his next auto attack. Additionally, he can throw that rock for massive damage. For his W, he stomps the ground for massive AOE damage.

The last bit of gameplay they revealed was his E. His new E will give him a speed boost, and he will be able to walk through the wall for a short while. Additionally, while he is boosted, he can stun an enemy by slamming them to the wall. It is a mixed version of Kayn E and Poppy E.

Vastayan Solo Laner

The last champion, Riot Games, revealed was a Vastayan solo laner. The only thing we know about this champion is that it will be female, and she lives around Freljord. As she is still in early development, it will take time for Riot to release this champion.
