Naafiri is getting some huge changes in Patch 13.17.

A new patch is coming in League of Legends, as Naafiri is on the nerfs list once more. Patch 13.17 will see more changes to the latest champion to the game. The patch itself is pretty big, with the likes of the Blitzcrank changes and many other buffs or nerfs.

Naafiri is one champion Riot has had to do a bit of work on her. She was released in Patch 13.14 alongside the Arena game mode. Since then, Riot has had to make some changes that include hotfixes and bigger ones in Patch 13.16.

Patch 13.17 will see more changes to Naafiri as Riot Raptorr shares the ideology behind the changes. Here is what we know so far.

Naafiri Changes Patch 13.17

According to Riot Raptorr, the nerfs in Patch 13.16 did do some work, but they ran into some problems. As the player base got better at playing her, the win rate started climbing. Thus, Riot is taking a bigger stab at the champion to get Naafiri to a healthier state. Here are all the changes coming soon.

  • Base Stats:
    • Health: 650 >>> 635.
  • Passive – We Are More:
    • Cooldown: 25 – 10 seconds (based on level) >>> 30 – 15 seconds (based on level).
    • Packmates:
      • [New] Packmates take 100% bonus Damage from champion melee attacks.
  • Q – Darkin Daggers:
    • Seconds Activation Heal: 45/65/85/105/125 (+40% bonus AD) >>> 45/60/75/90/105 (+40% bonus AD).
    • Second Activation minimum Damage: 35/50/65/80/95 (+70% bonus AD) >>> 30/45/60/75/90 (+40% bonus AD).
    • Second Activation maximum Damage: 70/100/130/160/190 (+140% bonus AD) >>> 60/90/120/150/180 (+140% bonus AD).
  • E – Eviscerate:
    • First Hit AD Ratio: 60% bonus AD >>> 50% bonus AD.
    • Second Hit AD Ratio: 90% bonus AD >>> 80% bonus AD.

There’s a lot to talk about with these changes. Firstly, they are nerfing her Base Health so that she is more punishable in the lane. Next, we have a higher CD on Packmates, and them being more vulnerable to melee attacks. This allows more counterplay in the lane to keep Packmate numbers down.

Her Q second activation takes a hit of both damage and healing to reduce trading in the lane for both mid and top. Lastly, her E gets a scaling nerf to stop her from going out of control. Overall, all these changes should make her weaker in the lane and not snowball insanely hard.

We will have to see if these changes are enough for Riot to see her strength as intended. Considering the amount of changes Naafiri has had in the past few patches, it might take a bit more for Riot to get it right.
