Riot just revealed the latest addition to the thematic mythic skins, Ashen Knight Pantheon, releasing on Patch 12.12.

Riot has completely overhauled the Mythic Content. Only Phase 3 is left, where they will introduce the new event pass system. Gemstone and Prestige Points are gone making way to Mythic Essence. There is also a rotating Mythic Shop that will house both prestige and mythic skins.

The older gemstone skins felt dull with very minimal animations. It was hard to justify spending ten gemstones for such a skin. So Riot said they would retire the Hextech skin line and make new thematic skins.

Ashen Knight Pyke was the first Mythic skin after the overhaul, and it was gorgeous. Fans loved the skin, and almost everybody who had enough mythic essence unlocked it. Hextech skins previously looked worse than epic skins. But the new skin looks almost as good as a legendary skin in League of Legends.

Riot announced that they would release a new mythic skin every three months. And following that schedule, Ashen Knight Pantheon will be released with the next Mythic Shop Rotation. The Pantheon skin might be even better than the Ashen Knight Pyke skin, if that’s even possible.

Release Date

Ashen Knight Pantheon will be available on the next Mythic Shop rotation in Patch 12.12, scheduled for June 23, 2022.

How to Get

Just like Ashen Knight Pyke, Ashen Knight Pantheon is a Mythic Essence-exclusive skin. The only way to obtain the skin is by spending Mythic Essence. Ashen Knight Pantheon will cost 100 ME on release. The skin will also have a chroma that you can unlock with 40 ME.
