Seven champions—Diana, Fiora, Lee Sin, Lulu, Tahm Kench, Xin Zhao, and Ziggs are set to receive some major nerfs in League of Legends patch 11.16.

League of Legends’ Lead Game Designer, Riot Jag has previewed the upcoming LoL patch 11.16. The last couple of patches were all about shifting the meta and patch 11.16 is no different. Riot is nerfing some of the “overpowered” champions who are currently dominating pro games like Diana, Lee Sin, Ziggs as well as the soloq dominant champions like Fiora, Lulu, Tahm Kench, and Xin Zhao.

All the nerfs will be available in patch 11.16 PBE for testing and full changes are scheduled to go live on Wednesday, Aug 11, 2021.

Diana Nerf Patch 11.16

  • Passive:
    • Monster Damage: 300 >>> 250%

After patch 11.8 changes where Riot buffed her jungle, Diana’s pick rate skyrocketed in both the soloq and pro games. Her soloq presence however did drop a bit after patch 11.9 nerf, but she remained as strong as ever in the pro games.

Currently, she has a 45.6% presence in the pro games but that increases quite significantly in LCK, LCS, TCL, and other regions. Moreover, she is also having decent stats such as a 13.1% pick rate on the soloq as well. Therefore, she is getting her second nerf in season 11.

Fiora Nerf Patch 11.16

  • E:
    • Cooldown: 11-5 >>> 11-7

Fiora is currently one of the best and must pick Top lane champion in League of Legends. Even without any kind of major buffs in season 11, Fiora has a 51.31% win rate in Plat+ Elo while having a 9.4% pick rate. As a result, Riot is taking away some of her strength in the upcoming patch.

Lee Sin Nerf Patch 11.16

  • W:
    • Omnivamp: 10-30% >>> 5-25%

Because of his high skill cap, Lee Sin has always been a popular champion in League of Legends. But at the start of season 11, Lee Sin was quite struggling to surpass the 48% win rate mark. Resulting in Riot buffing him multiple times.

However, after getting four buffs in season 11, Lee Sin became one of the strongest champions in League of Legends being played in Jungle, Mid, and Top.

Even though he did receive two minor nerfs already, currently, he has a 50.39% win rate in the jungle while having a 21.1% pick rate and a 23.6% ban rate. Moreover, he has a staggering 77.4% presence in the pro game as well. Therefore, Riot is nerfing Lee Sin once again in LoL patch 11.16.

Lulu Nerf Patch 11.16

  • W:
    • Cooldown: 15-11 >>> 16-12
  • R:
    • Cooldown: 110-80 >>> 120-80

Lulu has to be one of the most annoying champions at this moment in League of Legends. Her shield, ultimate, and especially the polymorphs make her one of the strongest peel-heavy champions. Not to mention, currently, she also has the highest ban rate in League of Legends with a staggering 45.8%.

Tahm Kench Nerf Patch 11.16

  • Passive:
    • Damage: 12-60 >>> 8-60
  • Q:
    • Healing: 15-35 >>> 10-30

The River King recently received his long-awaited rework in patch 11.13. At first, his reworked felt very underwhelming and at one point he only had a 45.7% win rate. As a result, Riot gave Tahm Kench some notable buffs on patch 11.14.

However, after the buff, his pick rate and win rate increased rapidly. Currently, he has a massive 52.35% win rate while having a 9.3% pick rate. Therefore, Riot is taking away some of the strength that was given to him in the last patch.

Xin Zhao Nerf Patch 11.16

  • Base stats:
    • Base AD: 66 >>> 63

Xin Zhao is also having a similar type of win rate and pick rate as Tahm Kench despite receiving a nerf on patch 11.14. Furthermore, he also has a massive 78.9% presence in the pro games as well.

Ziggs Nerf Patch 11.16

  • Base stats:
    • Mana: 420 >>> 480 (11.4 Revert)
  • E:
    • Damage per mind: 40-180 >>> 30-190
    • Slow: 30-50% >>> 10-50%

Ziggs also received a small nerf on patch 11.14, but similar to Xin Zhao and Tahm Kench, he is also dominating both the soloq and the pro games.
