Recently buffed jungle champions Morgana and Diana are scheduled to receive some notable nerfs in League of Legends patch 11.9.

After last season’s failure, recently, on Patch 11.8, Riot decided to buff off-meta jungle champions like Zed, Darius, Mordekaiser, Morgana, and Diana once again. Even when the changes were in the PBE, a lot of players pointed out that those buffs were a little bit “too much.”

Riot, however, did change the PBE buffs before releasing them on the live servers. And based on data, it seems Riot did a pretty good job compared to last season.

Even though Zed and Darius are not doing that great, Morgana and Diana have been absolutely crushing the solo queue with their new buffs.

Morgana is currently sitting at an impressive 52.66% win rate, where she has a massive 40.0% ban rate in the Plat+ Elo. Moreover, she also has an 8.3% pick rate in the jungle as well.

On the other hand, Diana also has a 52.55% win rate with a 10.5% pick rate. Furthermore, her win rate in the Challenger ladder is an astonishing 54.57%.

League of Legends Gameplay Design Director Mark “Scruffy” Yetter has previewed the 2021 MSI Patch 11.9, and it seems Riot doesn’t want to see Morgana and Diana dominate the pro games at MSI.
