League of Legends Patch 11.15 Notes: Aurelion Sol Nerf, New Champion Akshan, Release Date, and More

League of Legends patch 11.15 is going to introduce the new champion Akshan, Aurelion Sol, Gwen, and Irelia nerfs, and much more.

Similar to the last couple of patches, League of Legends patch 11.15 is also going to bring some meta-defining changes. Riot is going to nerf some of the “overpowered” champions including Gwen, Irelia, Sylas, and Viego. Moreover, they are also nerfing Aurelion Sol, who just has a 0.6% pick rate at all ranks.

Besides, Riot is going to buff ten champions: Blitzcrank, Caitlyn, Cassiopeia, Kennen, Mordekaiser, Nidalee, Rell, Shyvana, Syndra, and Xayah on patch 11.15 as well.

After many speculations and teasers, League of Legends’ 156th champion—Akshan is also set to make his debut on patch 11.15. Furthermore, the second part of the Sentinels of Light event will continue on patch 11.15 that is going to introduce the free Unbound Thresh, Ruined Miss Fortune, Sentinel Rengar, Pyke, and Graves Skin.

League of Legends’ Lead Game Designer, Riot Jag has previewed the upcoming LoL patch 11.15. And according to Riot, patch 11.15 will shake up a lot of pro games, especially the playoffs. Moreover, it is also targeting a couple of high-performing solo queue champions as well.
