Riot has revealed the upcoming Coven Nilah skin, which will be released in patch 13.20.
Compared to prior years, we have seen some well-made skins released in League of Legends this year. Moreover, most of these skins are from newer skin lines. These newer skin lines include Broken Covenant, Inkshadow, Soul Fighters, etc. Additionally, older skin lines like Dawnbringer vs Nightbringer, Snow Moon, Shan Hai Scrolls, etc., also returned this year. And they are not stopping anytime soon, as Riot officially revealed that Coven skins would return to League of Legends in the upcoming patch.
Initially released in 2018, Coven is a skin line where champions are reimagined as dark witches who worship the Old Gods. Coven skins released around that time were Coven Camille and Coven Lissandra. Some other notable Coven skins include Coven Morgana, Coven Evelynn, Old God Warwick, etc.
Recently, Riot released the trailer for the Coven 2023 skin line. Alongside the trailer, they also revealed all the champions who would receive the new Coven skins. One of them is Nilah.
Nilah is considerably a newer champion in League of Legends. She is an ADC who plays similar to Samira. Even though she is a more recent champion, she hasn’t received as many balanced changes as other newer champions like Zeri. Regarding cosmetics, Nilah only has her launch skin, Star Guardian Nilah. And now, Riot is releasing her second skin for League of Legends.
Coven is by far Nilah’s most unique skin in terms of design. It is completely opposite from her base design. Instead of breathing life around her, Coven would instead take that life. And this uniqueness makes this skin stand out from the rest. So, if you are a Nilah main, then this skin might be a worthy pick-up.
