As season 2025 is right around the corner, here’s when the upcoming champion Mel Medarda will be released in League of Legends.
Last year was one of the biggest years for League of Legends in terms of content We have so many new additions in the game. This year, Riot released Swarm, a completely new game mode that was never seen before in League of Legends. They also released two ASU in the game, Lee Sin and Teemo. Furthermore, with the recent release of Arcane season 2, Riot released many contents in the game. In terms of mini-games, they released an in-client mini-game called Jinx Fixes Everything. Then they also released a brand new ARAM map called Bridge of Progress.
With that said, season 2025 will be an even bigger season than last year. First of all, it will feature a new nexus-themed visual overhaul. Not only that, but they are also introducing a new epic monster called Atakhan.
Additionally, they are also removing the old Event Pass system for the new Battle Pass system. Moreover, this battle pass will also feature a brand new skin line which also might be a cannon to the Runeterra lore, Masque of the Black Rose. Although, it hasn’t been this long since the last one Riot will also release a brand new Exalted skin, Radiant Serpent Sett.
Besides the skins and the battle pass, one important thing that is coming out with the new season is the new champion, Mel Medarda. Here’s when she will come out in League of Legends.

League of Legends: Mel Medarda Release Date
For context, Mel Medarda is the upcoming champion in League of Legends. She was introduced in Arcane season 1. And in season 2, they fleshed out her character and her powers.
With that sai, Riot has recently revealed her visuals and abilities in a recent dev log. Additionally, now we also know of her release date as well. Mel Medarda will be released in League of Legends in patch 25.S1.2, scheduled for January 23, 2024.
