Riot is changing their Leaverbuster policy to add AFK players into the system.

League of Legends has been getting several system changes in the past few months. It all started with the Ranked changes to accommodate two splits in a season with more and better rewards for players. This has also progressed to improving LP gains and losses in Ranked to compensate for the two splits in a year. Also, the Dodge Penalties were increased in Patch 13.5.

Other than ranked changes, there were also many other behavioral and communication system changes. The mute system was updated, and the in-game chat expanded to facilitate communication amongst premade parties. Also, toxicity is being combatted by Riot through many of these changes.

The AFK system also got changes in the past to help players remake games quicker or not be kept hostage. Riot is coming with more changes to AFK players to add more penalties to the list. Here is what we know about all the new penalties applied to AFK players from Patch 13.5 and onwards.
