Yuumi is being nerfed again after her rework in Patch 13.5

Riot is getting ready to release a new patch in League of Legends. Patch 13.6 is set to be a follow-up to Patch 13.5 as there are some significant changes coming. Milio is finally coming to League of Legends, and everyone is here for it. The lore, abilities kit and all look really nice and unique for an Enchanter.

Patch 13.6 will also have many smaller changes that could adapt the solo queue meta a bit. Yuumi is getting nerfed once more after the rework as well as Dragon Changes. Also, there will be other nerfs, like ones to Aurelion Sol, and buffs to champions like Vayne. The Vayne buffs needed clarification as well since players were concerned about it.

Yuumi has been a thorn in Riot’s side for a while. After the rework in Patch 13.5, Yuumi had to be nerfed in a hotfix. Even after that, Yuumi remained too strong. Thus, Riot is bringing in more changes to Yuumi. Here is what we know so far about the nerfs.

Yuumi Nerfed Again

In the Patch Preview for 13.6, Riot shared the nerfs coming to Yuumi. They are as follows.

  • Q – Prowling Projectile:
    • Cooldown: 7.5/7.25/7/6.75/6.5/6.25 >>> 6.5 seconds.
    • Cost: 50/55/60/65/70/75 Mana >>> 50/60/70/80/90/100 Mana.
    • Range and Speed Reduced (Numbers not specified).
  • R – Final Chapter:
    • Bonus Resists: 20-60 Resists >>> 0.

What these nerfs will do is make her Q a lot less spammable and harder to hit. Cooldown and Cost being increased/fixed is basically making it consistent or making it harder to cast more of the spell. Range and Speed changes are unknown, but the reduction means enemies can dodge it better.

The Ultimate, Final Chapter, is also getting nerfed as it will no longer grant Bonus Resists on each wave. This will make ADCs squishier in teamfights. These changes should make Yuumi less annoying in the lane and too impactful in teamfights. Thus, it would be nice if the changes make Yuumi balanced so that Riot does not have to keep making changes to her.
