LoL Patch 12.3 Notes: New Changes, Release Date, and More

League of Legends patch 12.3 will nerf Zeri & Corki, feature Ahri’s rework, introduce multiple adjustments, and more.

There might only be a handful of changes in League of Legends season 12, but most of them are playing a crucial part in the current meta. The Teleport change has reshaped how the game is played — mainly in the pro games, and the objective bounties are in a somewhat good spot after all the nerfs.

However, the Chemtech Drake turned out to be so “broken” that Riot had to disable it in League of Legends until further notice.

League of Legends’ Designer on the Summoner’s Rift team, Riot Phlox, has now revealed the upcoming patch 12.3 changes. And it seems twelve items are getting adjustments, including Turbo Chemtank, Goredrinker, Maw of Malmortius, Trinity Force, and more.

Moreover, Riot is also nerfing dominant champions like Zeri, Senna, Caitlyn, Amumu, Corki, Twisted Fate, LeBlanc, and Janna.

Three champions: Lillia, Brand, and Quinn, are also scheduled to receive buffs on patch 12.3.

“Pretty interesting patch coming your way,” Riot Phlox on patch 12.3. “We’re adjusting the fighter system to be less health skewed.”

LoL Patch 12.3 Release Date

League of Legends season 12 patch 12.3 will release on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Ahri – Reworked

Buffs 

  • W:
    • Damage: 40-140 >>> 60-160
    • Mana Cost: 45 >>> 25
    • Flame Duration: 5s >>> 2.5s
    • MS Duration: 1.5 >>> 2s
    • Updated last hitting logic and cleaned up VFX
  • R:
    • Duration: 10s >>> 15s
    • [NEW] Consuming a champion’s Essence with Essence Theft (P) while Spirit Rush is active, extends its recast duration by up to 10s and grants an additional cast of Spirit Rush (up to 3 stored).
    • Cleaned up VFX and added Ammo Bar icons (currently placeholder)
    • R cooldown starts after first cast instead of after all casts are over

Nerfs

  • Base stats:
    • Health: 526 + 92/lvl >>> 500 + 82/lvl
    • Health Regen: 5.5 >>> 2.5
    • Armor: 21 >>> 18
  • Q:
    • Mana Cost: 65-85 >>> 60-100
    • Q AP ratio increased from 35% to 45%

Adjustments 

  • Passive:
    • [Reworked] Killing minions or monsters grants Ahri an Essence Fragment. After obtaining 9 Fragments, Ahri consumes them to heal for 40-120 (+25% AP). When Ahri scores a takedown against an enemy champion within 3 seconds of damaging them, she feasts upon their Essence, healing for 80-200 (+35% AP).
    • Brand new VFX+SFX for all skins
  • E:
    • Damage: 60-180 (+40% AP) >>> 80-200 (+60% AP)
    • Mana Cost: 70 >>> 50
    • [REMOVED] No longer grants a 20% damage amp on the target
