Riot Games has outlined the upcoming patch 12.15 changes; buffing Energy champions and nerfing Master Yi & Taliyah.

The last few patches, especially patch 12.10 Durability update and previous patch 12.14’s dragon buffs & healing outlier nerfs, pretty much shifted the entire League of Legends meta.

League of Legends matches are now all about long teamfights and scaling towards the late game. Many players are taking those as “good” changes, and some are even calling them the “best” changes Riot has ever implemented in modern League of Legends. Though pro players think the game is now all about winning & focusing on the bot lane.

Riot pushed a handful of changes on the previous major patch, patch 12.14. Therefore, it was pretty much destined that some champions would come out “overpowered,” and some would struggle to keep them viable in the meta.

And to keep the game balanced, League of Legends Lead Designer Riot Phroxzon has shared the upcoming patch 12.15 changes, where they are now focusing on adjusting the Energy Champions — Zed, Lee Sin, Akali, Kennen, and Shen.

“These are mainly champions whose energy costs haven’t kept up with the game post durability; We like where Kennen’s energy costs are, so we’re buffing something else instead,” Riot Phroxzon said.

Moreover, Rammus, Lillia, Singed, Leona, and Thresh are also getting some buffs on patch 12.15.

On the other hand, Master Yi, who recently received some massive nerfs, is also scheduled for more nerfs on patch 12.15, along with Qiyana, Sivir, Gwen, Taliyah, and Kalista.

Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming League of Legends patch 12.15.
