League of Legends Patch 12.10 Notes: New Changes, Release Date, and More

One of the biggest League of Legends patches in years, patch 12.10, will feature changes to more than 80+ champions, items & runes.

“League of Legends will be great again,” stated many League of Legends pros and casual players when Riot first announced the Durability Update earlier this month. Although Riot continuously tweaking and improving the game’s state every two weeks is nothing new, this Durability Update aims to shift the entire League of Legends meta.

Many veteran players consider Season 6 and earlier seasons a standard for League of Legends gameplay, as back then, teamfights used to be longer & there were chances for multiple counterplays. However, the modern League turned out to be fast-paced, making the teamfights confusing and short.

But Riot is shacking up the modern League of Legends with Durability Update in patch 12.10 that will target healing, shields, and Grevious Wound.

“In patch 12.10, we will be introducing some changes to increase the durability of every champion on the roster to reduce the overall amount of damage in League,” Riot previously said.

According to Riot Games, in patch 12.10, players will feel that their champions are dealing and taking less damage, and teamfights will last longer. And to make it possible, all the champions, items, and runes with any kind of healing and shield will receive some sort of nerfs, while Riot will also take measurements against Grevious Wound.

That being said, here’s everything you need to know about the biggest patch of the year, patch 12.10.

LoL Patch 12.10 Release Date

The meta shifting patch is currently on the PBE for testing, where Riot is closely monitoring every change. And the biggest patch in years, League of Legends patch 12.10, is scheduled to release on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
