The release of the Upcoming champion “Ink Mage“ will not be delayed.
Riot released the roadmap for League of Legends season 13 earlier in the year. In the roadmap, Riot revealed some of the contents coming in 2023. They showed off the Arena Gamemode, announced the Soul Fighter Event, and, most importantly, teased the upcoming champions.
They announced that four new champions are in the works and will be launched in the near future. The four champions were an Ixtali enchanter, a Darkin assassin, a Vampire Jungler, and lastly, an Ionian Ink Mage.
Out of the four champions, the Ixtali enchanter, Milio, The Gentle Flame, and Darksin Assassin, Naafiri: The Hound of a Hundred Bites has already been released. The vampire champion Briar, The Restrained Hunger, is now in the PBE servers and will be released in Patch 13.18 shortly.
However, the release date for the Ionian Ink Mage has yet to be revealed. But, the release window of the champion still remains within 2023. That said, it takes considerable time to polish and release a new champion, and players are concerned if Riot could deliver them on time.
But fret not, as Riot has recently addressed these concerns.

Riot is Still on Track to Release ‘Ink Mage’
In a recent Reddit post, Ryan ‘Reav3’ Mireles, Lead Gameplay Producer for League of Legends, addressed some concerns about the upcoming Ink Mage.
He states that the release date for the upcoming champion ‘Ink Mage‘ is still on track, and more details will be revealed in the upcoming Champion Roadmap.
As for when we can expect the Ink Mage, Riot has not revealed the date yet. But judging by Riot’s champions release schedule, we will have to wait at least two months for the release of the Ink mage.
