Topaz is a bird with a nest filled with loot in Baldur’s Gate 3. Here is how you can loot it in the game.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has a lot of different encounters designed to test the players. This game is based on the 5th edition of Dungeon and Dragons Rule. So it gives the players a lot of freedom to do what they want. The design of different encounters also reflects the freedom of choice. Some choices will have minor to no effect in the long run, while others can have pretty drastic effects.
Topaz is one of the encounters that reflects the freedom of choice in the game. It is a bird that is located in the Druid’s Grove. The Topaz’s nest is filled with different items you can loot. However, looting it in the open will brand you as a thief, and all the druids will become your enemies. So, here we will discuss how you can loot Topaz’s nest without any problems.
Looting Topaz’s Nest in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can go in a few ways. The first one is by using stealth. Make sure to save before you go looting. If you are caught, you will be branded as a thief not only by Topaz but also by all the druids. So saving before the attempt is very important. Once you have saved the game, go to stealth mode and wait for the bird to turn around. When it turns around, you can loot its nest without getting caught.
Another way to loot the bird’s nest is using the Talk to Animal skill. This skill will allow your character to talk to Topaz directly. Then you will have to go through some Deception or Intimidation checks, depending on which option you choose. If you succeed in the checks, you can get the loot without causing any problems.
That being said, if you fail the check and cannot get the loot in that way, you can always rely on stealth to get the job done.
