As players start the story in Baldur’s Gate 3, they will experience the Mind Flayer parasites getting the hang of their brains and slowly turning them into terrifying evils. To eliminate these parasites, always search for the cure and complete missions and quests profoundly.
As you complete the quests, there are different side quests as well. One of the interesting ones is Hunt The Devil. This is where you will meet Karlach, an escape from literal hell, and Avernus, who wants to help with the cure. And on the other hand, players will meet Anders, who is on his way to get Karlach to kill her. Now, the choice is yours to make. Choose your side correctly, as it makes the ending different.

Side With Karlach Or Anders in BG3?
Karlach is a one-horned devil-like creature who has escaped from Avernus. But the people around her now want to make her go there again. Moreover, Karlach is a part of the Absolute Faction, whereas Anders is a member of the Anti-Faction group. However, after meeting Karlach, you will learn she has been infected with Lillith’s Tadpole.
As you enter the village, you will meet Anders, a Paladin, and getting close to him will open up new challenges for you. Anders has a huge hatred for Karlach and wants to kill her. But if you choose to be with Karlach, the fighting with the enemies will be much more aggressive and straightforward.
In a broader sense, please take your side with Karlach, as she is good from within. And Anders, players can use Speak to The Dead Amulet on the dead refugees and then learn about the horrifying attack of the Paladins on them.
Both choices’ endings will be different, but you will get to complete your quest.
Side With Karlach
If you choose this side with Karlach, she can be a valuable friend and help you in your journey to beat evil. She will also help you find the Mind Flayer cure to save yourself from destruction.
Kill Anders and his Paladin members to save Karlach from the evil Anders.
However, if you want your character to become a powerful evil, maybe taking Karlach’s side won’t be an option.
Side With Anders
If you want to take sides with Anders, killing Karlach will be your ultimate option. Fighting and eating her won’t be hard. After killing Karlach, use the head of the corpse and send it to Anders for free Gold and other lucrative rewards.
