Help Rugan Or Loot The Zhentarim Chest?
Olly and Rugan may seem friendly, but remember that the Zhentarim clan was also known as the Black Network. They were the dark enemies in the past in Baldur’s Gate.
As you go past Olly and Rugan, they will ask you to deliver the Chest to Zhentarim Hideout. But you can also loot it or bring it to Baldur’s Gate! Choose your options wisely, as different choices will result in various situations.
Consequences of Helping Rugan
If you want to help Rugan and Olly, deliver the Chest to the Zhentarim Hideout. After doing that, Olly and Rugan will be happy, and you will unlock new quests on a different path.
Not only can you help Rugan in this way but in a more wicked way as well! Get the Chest to Baldur’s Gate and earn some cash. Divide the money among Rugan and your team. But remember, this act may end in Olly being killed and Rugan behind the cells.
Consequences of Looting the Chest
If you are to loot the Chest, then are some good things to retrieve from it, like;
- Iron Flask
- Gold
After opening the Chest, Olly and Rugan will try to kill you, but they won’t be that strong to last long. But remember that opening the Chest’s Iron Flask may result in boss-level fighting.
Once a player gets the Iron Flask, a boss enemy, Spectator, will come out of nowhere and heavily damage you and your team to steal the Iron Flask along with the Chest from you.
So be prepared for a hard battle if you choose to loot the Chest.
