Here we’ll rank all the Wingman skins that Respawn has released so far in Apex Legends.

Apex Legends is a free-to-play hero-shooter Battle Royale game released in February 2019. The game attracted players from different games and genres because of its unique style of gameplay. Within months, it became one of the most-played titles of all time by player count.

The game became famous for its precise gunplay and movement ability, with the hero-shooter aspect on top. The weapon collection is mainly metamorphosed from the Tifanfall universe, making the game more pleasant to play.

The Wingman in Apex Legends was inspired by two pistols in Titanfall with similar names called B3 Wingman and Wingman Elite. B3 Wingman can be found in Titanfall 1 and 2, and Wingman Elite can be equipped as a sidearm only in Titanfall 2.

Wingman was quickly adopted by the streamers and players, who were good at the game from the beginning. Though Wingman falls under the pistol category, it has the firepower to annihilate an entire lobby without breaking a sweat. However, using Wingman is not child’s play as it requires high precision.

When the game was fairly new, players were still figuring out how to play the game and what combinations of weapons could be used for primary and secondary firearms. But, the Wingman could be used as a primary weapon to deal immense damage and a secondary weapon to finish off the enemy with a massive blow.

From Season 1 to the present, many modifications have been made to the original Wingman. Yet, it is still a weapon of choice for players at the highest level of competition. To make the use of Wingman more thrilling, Respawn has introduced many satisfying skins for players from time to time.

How Many Wingman Skins are there in Apex Legends?

As of now, in season 15 of Apex Legends, Respawn has released 89 skins for the Wingman. Among them, there are 26 legendary, 11 epic, 36 rare, and lastly, 16 common skins available for this pistol.

Best Wingman Skins in Apex Legends (A Complete Tier List)

Now we’ll rank each of the Legendary Wingman skins Respawn has released in Apex Legends thus far, putting them into three categories: S-Tier, A-Tier, and B-Tier.

The S-Tier skins are the most unique, rare, and cool-looking cosmetic items that players look for inside the death boxes or ask their teammates to drop if they don’t have them in their loadout. The A-Tier skins are rare and eye-catching but fall slightly short behind their S-Tier counterparts.

Last but not least, The B-Tier skins. These skins are legendary items that look and feel okay. Players would love to have these skins, but they don’t mind not having one of them.

As with any other tier list, this one will be highly subjective. This list will be ideal for newcomers and returning veterans looking for cool-looking Wingman skins.

Best(S-Tier)The Dismantler, The Sunburst, The Death Ray, Red Rocket, Merciless Wing, Guns Up
Good(A-Tier)Precision Caliber, Attention to Detail, Final Form, Law Bringer
Average(B-Tier)Loud Mouth, Cardinal Force, Dead Heat, Thermal Rise

Top 10 Best Wingman Skins in Apex Legends

Season 17 of Apex Legends is in progress. As of now, Respawn has released a ton of legendary Wingman skins in the game. Here, we’ll show you ten of the coolest ones in descending order, so you’ll know which skins to go for if any of them return to the store or during a limited-time event.

10. Dead Heat

Dead Heat is an overheated metal-like Wingman skin that players love and hate at the same time. The skin looks pretty cool on paper, but while using it in-game, the humongous body and the bright color of the skin create a visual clutter that distracts most players in the middle of a gunfight. The same goes for Thermal Rise, the blue counterpart of Dead Heat.

9. Cardinal Force

Inspired by Boku no Hero Academia’s protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, Cardinal Force is one of the sleekest Wingman skins in Apex Legends. The skin didn’t come in a bundle. But Cardinal Wingman came as a matching skin paired with Mirage’s Marked Man skin that was released in the Gaiden Thematic Event in Season 13.

8. Loud Mouth

Loud Mouth is a Halloween-themed skin mixed with orange and red colors with a spooky clown face at the end. This skin was attainable in the Fight or Fright Collection Event in season 3. Players had the option to unlock Loud Mouth with 2400 crafting materials or 800 apex coins.

7. Lawbringer

Law Bringer

Lawbringer is one of the most gorgeous-looking Wingman skins in the game that is inspired by classic revolvers from the wild west. The Lawbringer weapon cosmetic was available in the Chaos Theory Collection Event but could only be obtained by purchasing the Deputy of Death Bundle. The bundle included a legendary Caustic skin along with this Wingman skin.

6. Final Form

Final Form is a cool futuristic-looking Wingman skin that is loved by many players. The design and color combination of this skin makes it one of the unique skins out there for Wingman. Final Form was a part of the Evolution Collection Event in season 10. This skin was rewarded to the players that completed the challenges and collected maximum points in the event.

5. Precision Caliber

Precision Caliber was released as a reactive battle pass skin back in season 5 of Apex Legends. The skin evolves as you kill more enemies with it and looks extremely flashy when maxed out. Players could get this skin when they completed level 100 of the premium battle pass. Attention to detail is the other variant of the similar reactive skin that could be unlocked at the 110 level of the battle pass.

4. Guns Up

If you like vibrant colors, Guns Up Wingman skin is something that you’ll be interested in. If it had a better iron sight, it would undoubtedly be the best Wingman skin in the game. Guns Up skin was released in Season 15 as a part of the Catalyst Launch bundle, paired with Suns Up Catalyst skin.

3. Red Rocket

Red Rocket is also a recolor of the Merciless Wing Wingman. Having this skin on your hand gives you a royal vibe. The wine-red color with a touch of silver shows why this skin is one of the most sought-after skins in the game.

2. The Sunburst

The Sunburst is the byproduct of the original legendary Wingman skin called the Death Ray. It is a recolor of the original skin and came to the store in late 2019 and early 2021. Because of its simplicity, this skin is the number-one choice for many pros and streamers.

1. The Dismantler

The Dismantler

The Dismantler is one of the coolest, if not the coolest, skins for all weapons in Apex Legends. This skin’s hot red chrome accent stands out among all the wingman skins. In August 2019, it first debuted in the store. In March of 2021, this skin was last spotted in the Apex Item Store.

Will past Wingman event skins ever return?

Unfortunately, Wingman skins from previous battle passes will not be available in the marketplace again because they were an exclusive reward for that season. Other recolors and event skins, on the other hand, may return as a recolor.
