Patch 10.18 to feature more changes to ADC featuring Ashe, Kog’maw nerfs, and Miss Fortune, Twitch buffs.

For the last couple of patches, Riot Games has been focusing on adjusting the ADC meta. But no matter how many times Riot nerf Aphelios and Ezreal they somehow manage to stay in the meta while champions like Tristana, Twitch, Miss Fortune failed to do so even with buffs.

However, on the recent patches, Riot gave some significant nerfs to meta champions like Ezreal, Aphelios, and Varus. Which resulted in them being one of the lowest win rate ADCs at this moment. With the nerfs of meta champions, some ADC like Ashe and Caitlyn have found their way to be relevant in the current meta. But apparently Riot did nerf Caitlyn on patch 10.17 and Ashe on patch 10.16 already.

Today, League of Legends’ lead gameplay designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter has previewed the upcoming patch 10.18, and it seems like they are planning on nerfing Ashe once again along with Kog’maw. But that’s not all, they are also buffing Miss Fortune and Twitch on patch 10.18.

Ashe Nerf Patch 10.18

  • AD: 61 >>> 59

Even with the patch 10.16 nerf, Ashe still has a 51.69% win rate with a 20.8% pick rate. Her presence in the pro plays has significantly increased as well. As a result, she is again scheduled to receive nerfs in the upcoming patch 10.18

Kog’maw Nerf Patch 10.18

  • HP per lvl: 90 >>> 85
  • Armor per lvl: 3.5 >>> 3.25

Kog’maw nerf is a bit questionable as currently on patch 10.17, he only has a 1.90% pick rate where he has a 52.52% win rate. Riot however thinks he is not balanced thus receiving nerfs on patch 10.18.

Miss Fortune Buff Patch 10.18

  • Attack speed per lvl: 2.25 >>> 3%
  • Strut max movement speed: 50-90 >>> 55-95

At the start of season 10, Miss Fortune was a meta pick alongside Aphelios and Ezreal as a result Riot had to nerf her a couple of times later on. Although she received a small buff of patch 10.11, she lost most of her carry potential by then.

Currently, she only has a 49.6% win rate with just a 4.5% pick rate. And with this new buff, she is most likely to be relevant in the current meta once again.

Twitch Buff Patch 10.18

  • E: AP ratio per stack 20% >>> 33.3%
  • R: Damage falloff per unit hit: -10% down to minimum of 40% damage >>> -5% down to a minimum of 70% damage

Besides that patch 10.11 buff where Riot buffed almost every ADC, Twitch hasn’t received any proper buff or nerf since patch 8.14. Therefore currently on patch 10.17, he only has a 49.56% win rate while having just a 3.8% pick rate. Thus, he is getting some buffs on patch 10.18.
