Respawn Entertainment is currently facing backlash over Holo-day bash 2020 skin bundles in the Apex Legends digital store.
For holiday 2020, Respawn brought back the fan-favorite Christmas themed train LTM called “Winter Express”. With slightly tweaked LTM and the return of the original World’s Edge map featuring clean blue sky, many fans of the series are understandably excited.
Additionally, Respawn is also bringing back the old cosmetic items from the previous holiday event alongside some other new exclusive skin bundles. In the holiday skin bundle, some of the character and weapon skins share a similar color scheme which enables players to pair characters with their matching weapon skins.
Player backlash over skins bundles
However, turns out, Respawn unfortunately put matching character and weapon skins into totally different skin bundles thus forcing players to purchase more bundles to match their character skins with their equivalent weapon skins.
Following this, some players are now voicing their concern over seemingly unfair practices from Respawn. Whether Respawn did it intentionally or not is still up for debate. But right now frustrated players are using their social media platform to show their dissatisfaction with Respawn.
Respawn still hasn’t made any official announcement regarding the issue as of writing. We will update you as soon as new information comes to life.
