Leblanc has gotten a hotfix, and changes have been made to auto-attack speed, growth, and AP ratio on abilities.
LeBlanc is one of the most popular burst mages in League of Legends. The champion has a very high skill ceiling with her clone, along with her ultimate (mimic), allowing her to reuse the recent most ability. Since her W is a dash, she can use it back-to-back once her ultimate is up. With enough Ability Haste, mid-late game onwards, she can dash around the rift continuously.
Leblanc’s burst comes from the Q+W damage combo. Her Q requires her to first mark a target and then hit it again to consume it to deal great magic damage. That’s where the W comes into dash in and out quickly. Due to her slippery movement and high burst damage, she is a very popular mid-lane mage. Her permanent presence in pro play speaks for itself.
However, currently, she sits at a 46.53% win rate across all ranks in the solo queue. After the Statikk Shiv changes, LeBlanc has been indirectly nerfed as well. But 46.5% is a very bad position to be in. Therefore, Riot has addressed the issue with a hotfix deployed into patch 14.1 on 12 January.
In this article, let’s take a look at the list of changes made to LeBlanc in that hotfix.

Leblanc Auto-attack Changes and More in 14.1 Hotfix
LeBlanc changes:
- AD growth reduced from 2.7 to 2.2
- Attack speed ratio reduced from 0.625 to 0.4
- Attack speed growth increased from 1.5% to 2.35%
- Q mark AP ratio increased from 40% to 45%
- E chain AP ratio increased from 35% to 40%
The first change is in her AD growth. This may seem insignificant because LeBlanc doesn’t have any AD ratio on any of her abilities. However, it plays a crucial role in determining her lane dominance. LeBlanc is a late-game carry, so it is essential to make it so that she struggles early on.
To counter this nerf, she has been buffed in the AP ratio for her Q and E, both increased by 5%. The attack speed ratio is decreased by 0.225 to further balance her laning phase, but the AS growth is improved to counterbalance any pervasive effect on her scaling.
When Were These Changes Made?
The aforementioned changes were hotfixed by Riot on 12 January 2024 mid-patch (14.1).
