Patch 12.21 marks the end of season 12 and will be the last patch before the preseason 2023 update.
League of Legends is an ever-evolving game, and for the game to change and evolve, it requires frequent updates or patches. These patches are introduced every fourteen days, keeping the game fresh and exciting for the players. They also come with various balance changes and meta-shifts.
Patch 12.21 is the next update set to release for League of Legends and will be the last update before the massive Preseason 2023 patch. For this reason, Riot Games opted to keep Patch 12.21 relatively short to focus on the preseason patch’s quality level.
Although shorter than the usual patches, Patch 12.21 will contain many new content and changes. In addition, the patch will have various quality-of-life changes, buffs, and nerfs to various champions. Patch 12.21 will also come with League of Legends’ newest top laner K’Sante.
Lead Designer Matt “RiotPhroxzon” Leung-Harrison has shared the changes for the upcoming patch on his Twitter.
