Kingen has revealed the DRX Worlds 2023 skin release date on stream.
League of Legends Worlds 2022 wrapped up long ago as DRX won that tournament, surprising everyone. Since then, players on the DRX 2022 team have decided what champions they want to receive skins on the yearly Worlds skin line. All the World’s skin additions are nice and have represented the teams well.
Last year’s EDG skins were very much plastered with the team colors of Black and White, and all of them look really nice. Thus, they got a lot of popularity amongst the player base. With that said, everyone is expecting quite a bit from the DRX skin line. Six skins are coming, and it will be interesting to watch out for.
Recently, Kingen, the top laner of the DRX 2022 team, went on stream. Questions were asked about the DRX 2022 skins, and he has indicated when the skins might be coming. Here is what we know about that.

DRX 2022 Skins
As per previous information, these six champions are the choice to receive skins from the respective players.
- Kingen: Aatrox
- Pyosik: Kindred
- Zeka: Akali
- Deft: Caitlyn
- Beryl: Ashe
- Juhan: Maokai
You can expect the skins to match the team colors (likely blue and white). From this year, Riot has revealed that there will also be a Prestige skin, so that’s one more thing to look forward to. Also, the DRX 2022 will receive a ward skin, icons, chromas, and borders. A lot is coming for the DRX 2022 winning content package.
Release Date
As per Kingen, the skins will be coming sometime around early June. If we look at the patch schedule, Patch 13.11 will be released on June 1, 2023. That matches the timeline Kingen mentioned, so we should have an indication of the skins releasing around May 17, when the new PBE update will launch. Keep an eye out for that; we will cover that if any news comes out.
