VALORANT is a 5v5 tactical shooter with some hero shooter element mixed in to make it stand out from other tactical shooters in the same genre.

Flashes or stuns are one of the most common utilities in the game that provides attackers a chance to enter a site. However, the sudden flash of light can be really harmful to players with Epilepsy as it can cause seizures. As a result, Riot Games also warns players with Epilepsy to be careful.

A VALORANT player suggests Riot to add an alternate option in the settings menu to enable players with epilepsy to add a different kind of flash effect like a black screen. The inclusion of such a mode will enable players with Epilepsy to enjoy this game at a competitive level.

Furthermore, one of the developers at Riot Games even responded to the suggestion as “NOTED!“. Therefore there is a good chance that Riot might include some sort of mode in the settings menu to help players with special needs.

The addition of such a mode would definitely attract more players with Epilepsy who previously couldn’t play the game. In the long run, Riot would garner more players if they can somehow manage to add an alternate flash mode in the settings menu for people with epilepsy.
