V Rising requires you to build a base to operate from. But Building a base at a bad location can be problematic for the whole time you play the game. So here we will show you are of the best locations to build your base.
In V Rising, you play as a vampire who has woken up after a long slumber. Now, you need to get strong and become the Dracula. But to become strong, you will need a base to operate from. So you will store your things in the base and track down powerful enemies.
Since you are a vampire, you are weak to the sun. So you need a base to shelter you from the sun. But that’s not the only purpose of your base servers. All the buildable buildings will be operating inside your base too.
So the base is an essential thing to have. But choosing a location for your base is even more crucial. Having the base in a bad location on a PvP server will make the game harder to play because of constant attacks from other players. Also, on a PvE server, it decreases the enjoyment by a lot as you will need to venture far to farm items rather than close to your base.

Base Locations for Your Castle
You need to remember several things to find a good location. Some of them are more helpful for PvP bases, others for all PvP and PvE bases. They are:
- The location has to be out of the way from a road. This way, you won’t get attacked by every passing player on the road.
- The location has to be a big flat surface. This way, you can expand your castle without worrying about running out of space.
- No location comes prepared. You will need to cut down trees and weed out the area to make it nice for a base.
- There should be some farming location nearby to farm various items. This way, you won’t need to travel much for farming, and you can focus on exploring and fighting.
We will show you the locations on a map with that in mind. On the map, the Red Marked Areas are better for a PvP base, while the Blue ones are good for PvE. So, here are the best locations you can build your base.
Dunley Farmlands
Dunley Farmlands is one of the best areas to build your base. It is in the center of the map. So you will have easy access to all the locations. Not only that, but you can also find a lot of farming spots, fishing spots, and dungeons in Dunley Farmland. So it is one of the better areas you can build your precious base.
In this map, we have shown you the best locations for both PvP and PvE bases. They are ranked from 1 to 6. But among these six, it will be a good one, no matter which site you choose.
The Red 1 to 4 areas are out of the way from other players. This will make sure you don’t get attacked too much. Even though they are out of the way for most players, they give you access to all the locations, making them an excellent area to build your base.
If you are playing on a PvE server or don’t need to worry about other players attacking, you can build your base in the red areas, but you should also look at the blue ones. The blue areas are more in the middle of the map for better farming location access. But building on these locations on a PvP server will surely get you attacked more than usual.
Farbane Woods
Farbane Woods is the starting area in V Rising. So if you want to get settled in as soon as possible, this area is for you.
You will find weak and starting mobs throughout the area. Weak dungeons that don’t have much loot and not good farming spots. So it is best to avoid this area. But if you really want to build a base in Farbane Woods, here are some locations you can do that.
Since Farbane Wood is not a good area for building a base, we won’t cover every marked area. But in short, the marked red regions are out of the way from players. So, you can build on those areas for safety. On the other hand, you can choose the blue-marked regions if you are on a PvE server or don’t need to worry about attacks.
Silverlight Hills
In V Rising, Silverlight Hills is one of the more end-game areas. There will be high-level monsters around. So, building a base in this area in the early game will be hard. But if you want to build a base late game, Silverlight Hills is a good location.
Another reason for choosing to build a base in this is the location is; you will find silver here. Silver is an important item for late-game crafting. You will also find the best slaves and servants in this area. So this is an all-around good area to build a late-game base.
One negative about this area is that this is on the left side of the map. So, you won’t have access to all the areas like you would have had in the Dunley Farmlands.
As for the locations, from 1 to 4 is a good choice for PvP, as they are on the side of the map. And because we are in a high-level area, we won’t be noticed that frequently if we build our bases in these locations. But if you don’t need to worry about player attacks, you can build the base right in the middle of the area as marked in blue by no 5.
Cursed Forest
Like the Silverlight Hills, Cursed Forest is another high-level area in V Rising. This is a good area for finding iron. If you want to build a base in an iron-ore-rich environment, this is your area. Other than that, you will find a lot of trees and animals. Thus, making it an excellent location to build a base and farm materials.
But Cursed Forest has a big problem in terms of settling down. It is disconnected from any other region of the map. The only way into the forest is through the Dunley Farmland. This is a problem when you want to travel around the map. Other than that, this is a great location to build a base.
For base locations, like every other section of the map, from 1 to 4 is suitable for online play. Even though they are out of the way for explorers, you will have plenty of farming locations nearby. But for PvE, the middle section of the map marked by 5 to 7 are good areas to build a base.
