More changes are coming to Stormrazor as Riot is updating it in Patch 13.13.

Stormrazor has had quite the journey after the midseason of Season 13 in League of Legends so far. Since the mid-season Patch 13.10 kicked off, Stormrazor has had its ups and downs. When Patch 13.10 was released, Stormrazor was the talk of the town.

This was the first item for many ADCs for the better part of that patch. Rushing the Stormrazor made the initial burst damage dealt very potent, and that made certain ADCs, like Jhin, Lucian, etc, really strong. Riot moved to nerf the item to reduce the priority on the item.

In Patch 13.11, the overall damage and other offensive stats were nerfed to balance this item. Since then, the item has decreased a bit in win rate and priority, but it’s still fairly strong. In particular, the initial burst damage done by champions like Rengar and Jhin makes the item really strong.

Thus, Riot is coming with more nerfs to remove some of that burst potential by the champions that abuse Stormrazor. Here are the new changes coming to Stormrazor in Patch 13.13.

Spideraxe shared the initial changes to Stormrazor in the previous PBE Patch.

However, Riot recently deployed another PBE, and that walked back on some of these changes.

So here are the overall changes to Stormrazor with the different iterations of testing.

  • Energized Damage: 15 ( +60% AD ) ( +50% AP) >>> 90 (+ 25% AD) (+ 0% AP).

The item’s Energized damage is being reverted to a previous state. Removing the AP and AD ratios makes the item less burst-prone, and this will remove the one-shot potential and such from the game.

It will be interesting to see how the new changes will pan out and whether the item will completely fall off.
