Sons of The Forest is the sequel to the highly praised survival game The Forest. Even though it is a sequel to the previous game, we do not get to play the same character as before. This time we will be playing as a person from the military tasked with rescuing a person from the island.
Being a survival game, there are many things you can craft in Sons of The Forest. Different kinds of weapons are also pretty accessible to you. They are not very hard to craft either. So you have different options on how you can tackle a situation. So here is how you can make a spear in the game.

Spear in Sons of The Forest
A spear is pretty simple to craft. And it is likely the first or second weapon you will craft in the game. There are three different items you will need to make a spear. These are:
- Duct Tape
- Stick 2x
- Knife
You will get a knife from your emergency pouch when you start the game. Duct tape can be a bit tricky to find. You can find some duct tape in the containers on the ground at the crash site. Or you can try to kill enemies to make them drop skin pouches. Skin pouches can contain duct tape inside them. As for the stick, you can gather them in the wild.
Once you have all the items, go to the crafting menu to craft yourself a spear. It is pretty useful for fighting, hunting, and even fishing in the game. So it is better to make a spear as soon as you can.
