If you’re eager to explore all of Hyrule in its full glory, then keep reading to learn about the best sequence for activating the Skyview Towers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Whether you’re an avid fan of The Legend of Zelda franchise or open-world RPGs, you’ll want to venture into the massive Kingdom of Hyrule and explore every nook and cranny.

The beautifully crafted open world of Tears of the Kingdom offers a more expanded version of Hyrule. This means you can access new locations like towns, villages, caves, and dungeons.

That said, exploring a massive open world also requires the help of a highly detailed map. And the only way to access the complete map of the Kingdom is to activate the various Skyview Towers spread across the world.

These towers work exactly like the Watchtowers from Breath of the Wild but with added puzzles. Moreover, instead of having to climb all the way to the top, Link can now launch himself into the sky from the base of the tower. This fun addition to Zelda’s world mechanics will make your exploration even more exciting.

Chances are you’ve already come across a Skyview Tower but cannot activate it. Well, rest assured, it’s not due to some glitch. You will unlock the ability to use these towers once you’ve progressed the main story enough to have reached Lookout Landing.

Once you’re there, speak to Purah and find Hoz in Hyrule Castle. Then, you’ll need to report back to Purah. She’ll then give you a tour of the Skyview Tower and ask for your help testing it out.

After receiving the Paraglider from her, stand in the middle of the tower and interact with the platform. You’ll then be catapulted into the air – allowing you to bask in the beauty of Hyrule from an incredible height. Moreover, this will also unlock the first portion of the Kingdom’s map.
