After teasing for weeks, Seraphine, League of Legends upcoming new champion is officially collaborating with Riot’s sensational K-pop group K/DA.
It’s been a fantastic year for League of Legends in terms of champion release. Riot already released the dreamy jungler Lillia, masked assassin Yone, and revealed the upcoming marksman Samira.
As Riot mentioned in the 2020 champion roadmap there will be five new champions this year, there’s already been many teaser surfing on the internet about another new champion, Seraphine, the sensational mage. In her Twitter bio, she describes herself as a songwriter and producer. And in recent times she already covered multiple songs including K/DA’s hit song “POP/STARS” and posted on social media.
The K-pop group K/DA recently released their newest single “The Baddest” from their upcoming new album. This resulted in many fans wondering whether K/DA will include Seraphine as a fifth member ahead of the album release before the Worlds 2020.
And now after weeks of speculations, both Seraphine and K/DA have announced on their Twitter accounts that they are finally collaborating and the song is “coming soon.”
Seraphine Twitted out saying “I know a lot of you have been guessing, but I can finally say that I’m collaborating with K/DA!!! I’ll be working with them to help produce their album and (gasp!) feature on an upcoming track.” She also mentioned that “this is seriously a dream come true.”
It is still uncertain whether Seraphine will be the upcoming new champion in League of Legends but this collab definitely hints even if she doesn’t make it to the Summoner’s Rift, she will be League’s first-ever virtual star.
