Riot reveals details about the upcoming new item class “Mythic Items”

Riot Games finally revealed more information about the upcoming new item class “Mythic Items” for the season 11 preseason.

In every preseason Riot tries to bring some significant changes to the Summoner’ Rift. In season 10 preseason, they brought changes to the Elemental Rifts which eventually changed the landscape of League of Legends. Likewise, for the upcoming season 11 preseason, they were teasing new item updates, new item class, and item system overhaul.

Last month, Riot revealed that they are giving some major updates to Healing, Grievous Wounds, and Tenacity. Moreover, they also gave some sneak peek on how the new item class might work in the 2021 preseason.

However, today, on the latest Riot Pls video, Riot breaks down this preseason’s item system overhaul and revealed some more gameplay information.

In the latest video Riot Games said, “Mythic Items are the cornerstone of your builds, with big effects that define your playstyle from game to game.”

Riot Scruffy also stated the new Mythic Items as “very powerful” however league players will be able to get only one Mythic Item per game. Additionally, he also said, “Mythic items shape your build and add unique stats to your other items.”

Mythics for the marksmen class

Crimson Shieldbow

Crimson Shieldbow will have 50 attack damage, 15% attack speed, 20% crit, and 12% life steal. Additionally, it will give a 150-500 health shield for 3 seconds. But unlike the Phantom Dancer, it will also give 20% increased lifesteal for 8 seconds.

Mythic passive: Empowers other Legendary Items with +8 Armor and Magic Resist.

Behemoth Slayer

Behemoth Slayer will have 60 AD, 25% attack speed, and 20% crit. And every third attack will deal with 80-240 additional true damage.

Mythic passive: Empowers other Legendary Items with +5% Critical Strike Damage.

Galeforce

Just like Behemoth Slayer, Galeforce will also have 60 AD, 25% attack speed, and 20% crit. But it will have an extra active effect. When active, players will dash a short distance (can not cross wall) and deal 105-240 magic damage to the lowest health enemy nearby. The damage will vary with enemy missing health.

Mythic passive: Empowers other Legendary Items with +2% Movement speed.

Mythic Item for the fighter class

Battering Ram will have 40 AD, 500 health, and 10% ability haste. It will also have both effects on Rage and Spellblade. Mythic passive: Empowers other Legendary Items with +6% tenacity and slow resistance.

Riot will reveal more Mythic Items for other classes in the upcoming future. Meanwhile, Riot Scruffy has also said that “Don’t be alarmed if it’s not 100% perfect and polished yet, we’re listening and adapting.”
