Riot Announces Jackson Wang Will Be Performing At Worlds 2022 Finals

Riot has confirmed that Jackson Wang will perform live in this year’s Worlds.

Worlds is the biggest and most anticipated event of League of Legends. It’s an annual event where the best team from around the world compete against each other.

Ever since Imagine Dragons in 2013, there are always live performances by top artists in the Worlds. So naturally, these live performances create a lot of hype for the remaining Worlds matches.

These live performances happen during the Finals of the Worlds. So many fans go to the Worlds event IRL to meet their favorite artists.

The finals for Worlds 2022 will take place on November 5, 2022, and will occur in San Francisco, California. The first artist confirmed to make an appearance at the Worlds 2022 was Lil Nas X, who made this year’s Worlds music video. However, other than him, there was no confirmation as to who would perform in this year’s Worlds.

Riot recently revealed all the artists that would make an appearance on Worlds 2022. Including Lil Nas X, we will see four artists in this year’s event. The other artists are Edda Hayes, Louis Leibfried, and Jackson Wang.

Jackson Wang Performing in Worlds 2022

Jackson Wang is a Hong Kong rapper, singer, dancer, fashion designer, etc. He rose to prominence after joining the K-Pop boyband Got7 in 2014. In addition, Jackson Wang founded Team Wang in 2017 and started releasing solo music.

He released his first solo music album in 2019, and it reached number 32 on Billboard 200 in the US. Furthermore, after leaving Got7 in 2021, he formed the Chinese hip-hop group, Panthepack.

Ever since he was in the K-Pop band, Got7, he always had a massive fanbase. Alongside having a Chinese and Korean following, Jackson Wang also has supporters worldwide.

Riot Games have collaborated with many K-Pop groups in the past. Furthermore, they even have their own K-Pop band K/DA. So it’s not surprising that Riot would collaborate with Jackson Wang for the Worlds 2022.

The live performance will take place in San Francisco, California, on November 5.
