Respawn is currently hiring mobile game developers for Apex Legends

A new job listing at Respawn Entertainment just confirmed the long-rumored mobile version of their popular battle royale game Apex Legends.

According to the new job listing, Respawn Entertainment is currently looking for a Senior Game Designer Mobile. While the mobile version of Apex Legends was always a rumor since the very beginning of the game’s life cycle, the recent job listing confirms all the rumors.

Mobile gaming in the last decade has become such a behemoth that even Respawn Entertainment can’t deny its influence in today’s world. With mobile ports of popular Battle Royale games like PUBG and Fortnite seeing so much success, it makes a lot of sense for Respawn to pursue something similar.

Exactly how Respawn will port Apex Legends for mobile hardware is still uncertain. Surely the talented folks at Respawn will certainly find a nice balance between visuals and functionality to deliver an experience similar to what players can expect from their PC or console counterpart.

Mobile gaming has certainly taken over in such a massive way in the quarantine as millions of players are now enjoying gaming on their handheld devices. Respawn is now looking to make a statement in the mobile video game market.
